My book has arrived from the publishers (signed). It was order 8,3xx so that's quite a few hours' work. I saw a photo of him surrounded by waist height piles of books a few days back so I am guessing it is legit.

Maybe, if anyone doesn't buy a signed one, say from their local bookshop, then if you send Graham an ex libris bookplate with an SAE he would sign that and return it? (Via his publisher or agent.)

Mine arrived today, I was very excited! Will sit and read a bit tonight but will binge it properly at the weekend.

Just finished it (I am a very fast reader). Often startlingly honest and self deprecating. I won't do any spoilers but I absolutely snorted with laughter at the following -

Mine arrived today. No email mentioned signed but my copy was so I'm chuffed. Now to read it carefully!

Mine has a signature but it looks printed, ie can't see pen marks, doesn't look like ink, same tint as the print in the rest of the book....but that's okay, I would have bought it without a signature

I would too. I was just looking at how the Sunday Times compiles its bestseller list:

"The way it works is this, each week booksellers across the UK and Ireland submit their sales figures to a market research company called Nielsen’s Bookscan. This must happen each week within a very small window, something like between 10pm Sunday and 10am Monday. It must also be submitted in a very specific way, a csv file that is analysed by a computer and the information fed in to create the results. Late entries are not accepted, and so authors and publishers are really at the mercy of booksellers to submit that data to be in with a chance of making the bestsellers’ list."

So it seems that the data is collected from booksellers (including Amazon) but not from publishers. A lot of us (thousands, I think) bought Graham's book directly from the publisher so that might not be counted in total sales.

Also by Ben Sixsmith in The Critic, talks about whether more could/should have been done on the Right (as Ben Sixsmith says he is) to support Glinner and expressing concerns about Glinner burning out which is something I get concerned about too

Royal Mail did me proud, despite Waterstones being slack, and I have my copy! 😁

It must be real because surely it would be crazy to print some with a signature and some without? The autograph on mine is very neat too, no pen indentations, it must’ve been done with a fineliner using barely any pressure. I can see it’s subtly different to others I’ve seen on Twitter/X - tiny variations in the loops etc.
