This makes me so mad, as do the rapists who begin 'identifying as a woman' after the offence and before the court case.

As far as I'm concerned, they were men when they committed the offence (still are & always will be) so they should be treated as a man, sentenced as a man and do time in the male prison estate.

Don't ever ask me to use female pronouns for a rapist or sex attacker, it's not going to happen, ever.

See, this is what I don't get. It's patently clear that this perpetrator did this as they weren't sure if a prison sentence would be suspended (and shouldn't have been as far as I'm concerned) and also knew as a nonce what reception they'd get in a male prison.
Any trans activists would do well to be calling these people out with a hashtag like #youain'ttransbruv as opposed to focusing their attention on calling women terfs.

Of course, activists are in a sticky spot as more and more of these cases come out. They’ve been saying for years that anyone who says they are trans is trans and you’re a terf bigot if you question it.

So all the women who have pointed out the loopholes and opportunities for piss taking -who should have been listened to - have been proved correct. The majority of the MRAs will never say “yeah, the feminists were right” even if it gives them the opportunity to distance themselves from men like this. So it moves on to “one (and the rest) bad apple doesn’t mean all transwomen..” Women have never said it was all of them. But now this person, by TRA logic is as trans as anyone else. They have to accept creeps like this by their own (non existent) logic.

Luckily for the TRAs their arguments boil down to “mad angry crying” rather than debate so they can continue to shout terf/transphobe/bigot on the socials no matter how nonsensical it seems.
