Always all the drama.
Male people can identify as TW if they choose to, with varying degrees of what that means to them and how far they wish to change their bodies, and that's great. No one is in any way suggesting restricting this.
But no one changes sex. And the polite fiction out of kindness has meant that a large number of male people have taken it far further than is sensible or compatible with women's rights. So there is no point wailing that it's mean to require that those people respect that other people have rights and realities too.
Male people cannot be women. They cannot be in all women's spaces at will, and they are going to have to cope with the idea that women's equality, access to society, right to meet as a group and right to be homosexual is not going to come second to a male person's wishes on those women conforming and performing a belief they do not hold in a male person's identity.
Some women will, and that's great, they can join mixed sex groups and third spaces and that's all lovely. And some women won't, and male people of all identities are going to have to get over that. Women's lives do not revolve around male people. It is not in any way reasonable to expect that they should.
