Urinals closed in men's toilets

Yesterday I saw a sign on the men's toilets in my local shopping centre saying that the urinals were now closed to increase inclusivity for trans-men. Has anyone else seen this near them?

Either both men and women are to be made trans inclusive or none are.

Because sure enough, this will lead to urine everywhere, no water to flush it down etc… the smell!!

Unless they've actually disconnected the urinals, then there's not going to be pee everywhere, it'll just go down the drain as usual.

Yeah, you might not get the half hourly flush if they've turned that off, but most men's toilets reek of piss anyway, especially shopping center ones, there's not going to be a significant difference to normal.

Men don't need to sit down to use a toilet 90% of the time, it means we've got a much less high standard around what we'll put up with. Remove the urinals, and you'll get a minority of men deciding to piss in the sink as a dirty protest.

I haven't rtft but I find it hard to believe that we're now doing things to benefit (some) women that would have a cost to men. Imo though, that's exactly what is needed to make the wheels come off - when men en masse start to find themselves on the sharp end, this ideology will end.

ffs - had a week of this at work. Toilets are not an expression of gender, but sex (which are different). Functionally designed to handle a bodily function- nothing more. Look at your bits in the middle, choose the door which is most appropriate & find another way to make yourself more interesting 🙄
