2/ If this policy were enacted, it would mean that users could get suspended or banned for e.g. publishing the Swedish health authority's view that "the risks of [youth gender medicine] currently outweigh the possible benefits[.]"

3/ This proposal is the natural endpoint of GLAAD's yearslong campaign to slander and bully anyone with questions about an area of medicine that, it turns out, is in dire evidentiary straits. Suppressing evidence and discussion is an awful, awful thing to do to trans youth.

4/ When I tried to reach out to GLAAD to discuss some of this stuff, I was informed "GLAAD is not a medical organization or association" and was referred to Jack Turban as a trustworthy expert.

They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel with ALOK Vaid-Menon who's on record saying little girls are kinky and deviant and not as innocent as people think.

And I'm not sure Dylan Mulvaney's endorsement is quite the advert they think it is.

We can't take this 'hands off' approach you suggest because innocent children are being indoctrinated to think they could be 'trans' or of a different 'gender identity'. Parents have to protect their own and their neighbours' children from coming to unnecessary harm.
Professionals with safeguarding responsibilities cannot be allowed to ignore all their training and profit from this unfortunate 'eugenic' Zeitgeist.

Jazz Jennings is the only signatory I for whom.I have some understanding of why he/his mother/his mother in his head signed. Total compassion. He was what? A toddler? When his mother concluded he was trans.

I caught a few seconds of the pirate show trailer a while ago and it just didn't appeal at all, even without knowing anything about it and its fandom. I (all of the family really) have watched pretty much every other Taika movie/show except for the latest Marvel one but none, even my teenagers, want to see this show.

That anyone claims Alok as a member of their community after saying such abhorrent things is beyond me.

Yes, the 'journey' today's teenage girls are going regarding self loathing and female erasure is so dispiriting. And that they see the show's gay males as mastectomied, testosterone-dosed females too, in their fan art, not as same-sex attracted biological males. There's a lot of talk about Furries in the media because of the Catgender recording, but the internalised misogyny of girls in fantasy fandoms feels like a more urgent topic.

To think, my biggest worries as a young teen were all centered on Spiderman and Peter Parker. The closest I got to an ID crisis, lol.

I wouldn't swap that for problems today, not for any money.
