Eh? So the concept that only female bodies give birth, only male bodies can produce sperm, only female bodies have periods etc - that’s all just a social construct??? And we’re expected to take this organisation seriously??!

I know, @Hagosaurus, if sex is a social construct could someone please explain it to me?

I've had 6 inpatient hospital admissions in my life and only one of those would have been possible if my embryonic body had developed along the other reproductive pathway. Therefore, five were directly caused by having a female body. Yet it's a 'social construct'...

Not on Twitter so can't ask Katherine Deves about the letter, but you could write directly to the UN in support of Reem Alsalem?

@Wellies54 it looks like Google have blocked this presumably based on complaints. Do you know if it is available elsewhere. Or if anyone has a copy of the content let alone the signatures.
