@TrainedByCats it won't go away. Media outlets like the Times, Telegraph & Daily Mail will keep bringing it to the forefront. The boycott culture sweeping the USA has landed on our shores too & Oxfam is on the list! Doubt they'll recover from this.

If, as it looks, we are starting to slowly emerge from this mass formation psychosis, it will be well worth making a note of people who were up to their necks in buying this. If there is one thing for sure it is there will be a lot of SM scrubbing going on. 🤔

Went past an Oxfam poster earlier which said "this F word is beyond offensive", it was "famine" but I think I could be forgiven for thinking it was something else!

Non-men means non-money. Late to the party here, but who else can I give my cash to that does the same sort of work as Oxfam - is there an Oxfem? Same thing, not misogynist?

Concern Worldwide and Self Help Africa look promising, and I think other ones people suggested were Give Directly and Amref (the latter being apparently a bit genderwoo when it comes to comms but sound on the grounds, with projects on quite a few women's health issues).

I just unsubscribed from Oxfam emails.
I give to a small charity which helps women and children in Uganda. No mad TRA stuff that I can see on the website. https://www.awamu.co.uk/about-awamu

A much narrower focus, but another good one is https://www.pc4r.org/ Entirely volunteer run, they focus on doing 1 simple practical thing for refugees living in unsafe conditions. Priority given to women and unaccompanied children.
