Ok I can't work out how to link it. If you search twitter for arm trans kids let women speak. Then you see a picture of kid's garden toys with machine guns and sandbags with the phrase on there

I had a great time, talked to some lovely people, and dogs, and a dinosaur!
I'm hoping to get down in September.
I'm absolutely shattered, currently waiting for my bus back to Glasgow but absolutely worth it.

I've spent most of the day since 1pm worrying as I tuned into YouTube and nothing came up.

What a shame, not many people are on twitter, they would have done better to livestream on facebook. :(

Anyhow I shouldn't moan, I try and see if I can find it.

Glad it went well and no trouble (excluding male person).

I did notice looking at the LWS events page that the next 2 events are in Austria!! Or did I dream that!

Do go and look at this link if you haven't already. The banner 'arm trans kids' is both terrifying and bizarre. The phrase itself is an unwelcome American import. Be kiiiind, right!

But dont know the context of the LilyManard tweet, but my goodness does look like the police are putting a bit more effort into doing their job properly. But the black unbrella's. What a joke. Anyone who wasn't informed about the ins and outs of this would just see that and think "what the police have to put up with, complete idiots¬

Have only just realised this means it wasn't just a Pink News rumour - she has been banned from YouTube.

Is there any way of protesting. ie ordinay woman are also being banned.

Fancy having to rely on the right wing media and Elon Musk to hear what women are saying.

This wasn't the future I thought I would be living when I first left school. :'(

In the intro to today's event PP said it was a complaint of transpobia.

YouTube doesn't have an email contact, you have to sign into Google, go to you tube and then use the "flag" a video.

I have so little faith in the people dealing with complaints that I am worried if I flag a LWS event to say they should be on YouTube because they are about women's rights, and YouTube shouldn't censor women's rights, that they wont read what I say, and will just use my flagging to say oh there's been another complaint against LWS.

And ideas what to do.

This is what I wrote (usual typos)

What is the option to say that a ban you have imposed on someone is in fact a restriction of women's rights.

Let Women Speak / Posie Parker is one of the few outlets women have to speak about the loss of their rights.

They do the work for us. And like any abusive relationship when they realise they are losing their tight hold on things they get violent and do and say really stupid things.

clearly, I am not fully in the loop — I also don’t understand the phrase “Women Wont Wheesht”. What does it mean?

PP was right that it means women won't shut up, but specifically it comes from the Scottish independence movement. Those of us who want both independence and to protect women's rights and child safeguarding warned that Indy was being put at risk by the SNP's obsession with trans issues, because we wouldn't vote for our own obliteration. We were told to shut up (haud yer wheesht), work for, vote for, and gain indy, and then women's rights could be addressed. You know, the usual, "after the revolution, meanwhile make the tea" routine.

And years later, SNP support is dropping (although support for Indy remains around the 50% mark), the party has been almost completely captured, and the prospect of Indy has been well and truly kicked down the road. Women still won't wheesht, and I'm proud of us.

(Still want indy, though. 😎 )

The kindle edition is a couple of days away. I have to do the final final final check through tomorrow!

It may at some point in the future end up at 99p every once in a while, but as 100% of the profit is going to For Women Scotland to begin with its going to be a higher price to maximise the money FWS get.

It will however be cheaper than the paperback, and you will get an additional 20 bonus poems in the e-book!
