Just posting this as on a thread elsewhere I made some disparaging remarks that the debate will be shuffled off to some small committee room.

But they must think that more than a few MPs are wanting to take part as I have just seen it will be in Westminster Hall.

Will be interesting to see which MPs are willing to state views about the reality of biological sex in public!

There are some superb Scottish politicians but they seem to be outnumbered by a loud, ridiculous few who make the Scottish nation look like absolute fools to the rest of the world. It's absolutely mortifying.

I used to be proud of our Parliament and Government. The turning point for me was the reaction to the six words amendment in the Forensic Medical Services Bill. I can't unsee it now.

The crux of the matter is we don't want men -no matter how they identify - in women's spaces. That's it.

So this is the Tories saying we mustn't rush into anything.
