I mean, he's actually trolling, but this is essentially exactly what the British MP chap did recently! The Welsh one, can't remember the name. No change in presentation, no change in pronouns or name. Just asking to be accepted as trans from that point on.

I don't know. I daresay he thinks he's being very clever and funny but I'd rather see politicians addressing the problems seriously.
Maybe he is. I don't know anything about him. But other people/men have done similar stunts, so it's not as if it's something new and clever. Politicians need to do more than joke to sort this out.
