Just back from the rally. ‘Protesters’ shouted it down. They shouted death threats at Posie. Police did nothing. I wonder why? No such thing as free speech.

I don't think a child of 11 years should have been centered and given that platform, it isn't compelling. It looks like children being told what to say by fanatical parents, just like when Greta started out. It detracts from the message.

Girls of Secondary school age are one of the most affected groups. Of course she should be able to speak.

The woman talking about her cancer diagnosis and all the results of her medical treatment to the appalling shouting and noise behind her was such a juxtaposition. I was weeping buckets listening to her.

It's a risky position to put your young child in isn't it, given we know how polarising this discussion has become and the terrible behaviour of the counter protestors.

I thought she was great. The sound of men trying to shout down a young girl was disturbing but she had her wits about her, she did a great job and if there are repercussions, they're not on her.

The girl obviously wanted to say her piece. These new rules about who can be a woman will affect her more than it will affect the old fossils amongst us. Why shouldn't she have her say? It's her rights that are being stolen.

Great turnout & I really enjoyed hearing everyone speak today. Disappointing that the man was injured in the pub & hope that's addressed.

Off to watch the live stream as it was difficult to hear some of the speakers even up close but plenty turned out & plenty spoke up. It was energising 💚

Her poem was great- she clearly knows her stuff.

I don't see why a very young woman is less worth listening to than an older one. She's right at the cusp of discovering who she is, and is being told in school that her identity is up for grabs by people who'll never have any idea what it is to be a girl.

Hmmmm. Was a bit surprised by the reporting on this from The Mail. Very TRA like.

If there were repercussions, she could have been targeted. If she was saying TRA stuff, I think you'd be singing a different tune personally.

I agree…..this is an appalling account of the proceedings….what about the aggressive chanting of death threats ??
