Oh wow! It has gone since the last time I looked! MN's attempt to delete it must have been botched the first time! Your screenshot is what I saw for the OP but the rest of the thread was there - all 1,000 posts because I checked the last page.

So it had been there since 2016 and has just been deleted now! There were several messages from Mumsnet on the thread but I didn't bother to stop to read them.

Some pages were captured automatically over the years on web archive org but not all of them.

Posting links here creates an unholy mess so you would have to pop the URL into here to find them - add an asterisk after the URL:

Thanks Bosky but I have a feeling that it was deleted a while ago. I remember trying to access it before - I assumed it was a glitch my end as saw this strange message and others could see the thread.

I now get a normal deletion message. Which is also odd. Especially if you could all see the thread this week.

It was all there yesterday, all 1,000 posts of it. I read a fair bit, including posts by KateMumsnet which were, to say the least, pretty bland and not well received!

Right. Apologies, I reported it to say I couldn't see it. Thinking it was a glitch. But I'm now furious as that's clearly made it go poof for everyone.

I wonder if those who were originally on the thread could see it?

I wasn't on that thread but I could see it.

Back in 2016 I was not a member and the only times I visited Mumsnet were when it came up in search results when I was looking for advice about various DIY repairs.

That's what I thought Mumsnet was all about - unblocking sinks and dealing with limescale! 😂

Morning, all. I'm so sorry - this was my SNAFU (actually, it might have been a FU to be fair). We had a report on this thread late last night, spotted that it had no original post and assumed it was an error and the whole thread should have been deleted at the time. We don't usually delete 'just' an OP as the thread then makes no sense but it looks like we made an exception for this one.

It's back where it should be now. Thanks for letting us know!
