This is the same Stella who has claimed that lesbians get a ‘sexual charge’ out of dressing in a typically masculine way?

Between this and KJK defending the Meloni Governments attacks on LGBT families, this movement sure has quite a lot of homophobes in it.

Martina tweeted to say she disagreed with that characterisation.

What’s bizarre is that Planet sought out this zombie thread to deliberately have a go at SOM, bumping it from 10 months ago in the process. You have to wonder what sort of person does that just to abuse someone.

As for abuse - you’re right, Stella O Malley is the real victim here for being challenged on homophobic views, rather than the many lesbians she things are walking around in a state of arousal because they are wearing a shirt and trousers.

No you don't agree that the trans movement is homophobic? No you don't think sterilising and mutilating gay teenagers is bad? No you don't think the trans movement has stuff that needs sorting out?

Trying to insist that lesbians have to accept penises is homophobic.

So you don't think gay teenagers are being transed, or you don't think that doing that is homophobic?

It is a matter of public record that staff at GIDS used to joke that there would be no gay young people left, because they were transing them all.

Sterilising gay kids definitely is homophobic. In fact it is stopping gay kids from having their own kids, which is actually one of the definitions of genocide.

And yet the vast vast vast majority of gay people continue to be cisgender. So no, I don’t believe anyone is ‘transing away the gay’. Thats a nonsense supposition that ignores the realities of being trans compared to being cisgender and gay.

Now anything to say about Stella’s homophobia?

Leaving aside your nonsense definition of genocide - even forced sterilisation would not constitute genocide against a group without an inheritable characteristic. And of course no one is sterilising gay kids in the UK.

I don't know what you mean. 'Gay people continue to be cisgender' - the fact that loads of gay people don't think they're the opposite sex doesn't mean that loads of transpeople, if left alone, wouldn't have been gay. Does it?

Especially when it seems quite a recurring theme amongst detransitioners, that they stopped trying to be the opposite sex when they came to the realisation that they were not the wrong sex, they were same sex attracted.

Plus, if you think that penis people can be lesbians and vice versa, what does gay or straight even mean? 'the realities of being trans compared to being cisgender and gay' means nothing if you think males can be female, females can be gay men, a natal female and a natal male can be in a gay relationship together and all the rest of it.

That Stella O Malley is a homophobe? Sure.

This is nonsense. For one thing, the vast majority of trans kids are left alone. For many years. Because of the inaccessibility of healthcare for trans people. For another, no kids are sterilised.

But your silence on Stella’s homophobia tells me all I need to know.

They're not left alone though - social transition is, as we know from Cass, not a neutral act.

I think we have a different definition of 'healthcare' for transpeople. And yes, young people absolutely have been sterilised with surgeries which mangle or remove their reproductive and sexual organs, and hormone medication which has been used for chemical castration of sex offenders. You know that. The testimony of detrans young people is available, though they do get shouted down a lot. I suspect we also have a different definition of homophobia.

Perhaps the words of Lord Blencathra, speaking in the House of Lords on Friday, are relevant here:
