Shocking scenes in Auckland, TRA pours liquid on KJK

I'm not even sure what to say about this, I just find it really shocking.

Baying mobs surrounded the intended event, one got onto the podium and poured red liquid all over KJK and KJK had to be removed amidst a huge crush.

I hope everyone is OK.

If 'Rainbow Community' means people who are LGBT+ then several of those the mob were attacking were Rainbow Community. One of those who has spoken out is a 72 year old lesbian, staggered that she needed protecting by fundamentalist Christian men from being attacked by what should have been her own community. And that even at the height of the worst prejudice she saw as a young and newly come out lesbian she never saw anything as appalling as this.

So what is it now, let's get this straight: is the 'Rainbow Community' meaning just people who are LGBT+ in which case wtf were they doing?

or is 'Rainbow Community' now the term for a corporate branded, violent extremist mob of any and all sexualities who beat up LGBT+ women and anyone else in their way?

I am with the gay bloke who was so horrified at the weekend and is trying to mobilise other gay men. The time is here when there needs to be LGBT+ people who are not violent, insane thugs stood under the rainbow flags themselves going this is not in our name, this is bloody appalling behaviour that has to do with extremism. It has no relation to being LGBT+

NO PART of being LGBT+ necessitates being a thug.

Someone posted a link to a reddit thread. Some of the people on that were claiming the young man was 'defending himself' against the elderly lady, she 'rushed him' (a lot of the other could see the optics and were whining for the thread to be taken down 'like the others' ). Anyway, I've not seen the attack from this angle before, I don't know if it's been posted before. Be warned, it is brutal, he headbutted her, then while she was dazed and staggering he punched her. I hope she's okay. I hope he gets found and punished.

This is fucking awful. Of course, this individual, a fit, strong, young male, was SO fearful of the impeding Nazi dystopian anti human state, of course being facilitated by women, including THIS woman, that he was compelled to lash out. Not enough just to shout at her and harass her, but totally compelled to PUNCH THE TERF!, I mean, c'mon, his life and the trans community in imminent danger of literal holocaust.
And what more appropriate way to show that in fact the perp is the Nazi, by appropriating Nazi tactics of extreme violence against the physically weakest in society.
The world is not so much upside down if you relent to this ideology, as being thrown around inside a washing machine.

The more delicate TRSOHers will (a) put heads in sand and hope everybody stops talking about it (b) say something mealy-mouthed about "oh dear nobody supports violence" (c) attempt discreditation e.g. she rushed him, the footage is by Bad People (d) do the "only one example" dance.

The True Believers will (a) say all Bad People deserve whatever they get, because genocide.

Until I clicked on it, I thought that was Joanne Harris from Society of Authors and was stunned that she wouldn't just think that woman got what was coming to her.

Judging by the number of women in tears on the radio show, in disbelief at what they were subjected to for going to listen to women talk about women's needs and rights? And the absolute betrayal of their police and government who abandoned those women to being assasulted and beaten for daring to be present? More than one is going to need counselling. It was the worst attack on women in decades in the western world, it was shameful.

As to the poor woman with a fractured skull - we've said it was only a matter of time before this political extremist mob seriously injured or killed a woman, and they have managed it. NOTHING justifies that. Absolutely nothing. It is indefensible.
