Shocking scenes in Auckland, TRA pours liquid on KJK

I'm not even sure what to say about this, I just find it really shocking.

Baying mobs surrounded the intended event, one got onto the podium and poured red liquid all over KJK and KJK had to be removed amidst a huge crush.

I hope everyone is OK.

Recently we’ve had violence from TRAs, Barbie K, turd from an idiot, also pink leggings shot, decapitate them and called dinosaurs

Men are not looking good in all this.

Women want to speak and this is what we see.

NZ was never on my bucket list; now, alongside Canada, you couldn’t even pay me to visit it.

It’s the dehumanising that also worries me. When you stop seeing a political opponent as a woman with a different opinion and start calling them TERF, Nazi, Dinosaur, etc. that opens the door to the threats of violence and now, as we’ve just seem, physical violence. People who would never make a sign saying ‘decapitate women’ think it’s edgy and perfectly alright to make a sign saying ‘decapitate TERFs’ because they’ve stopped seeing their opposition as human beings. That poster saying ‘brick a Nazi’- it stems from the same dehumanising. It starts with language and then progresses to threats of violence, and unfortunately, we have reached an almost constant state of actual violence being perpetrated on women.

Just to clarify for the hard of thinking, saying that someone 'incited' violence is NOT THE SAME as excusing the people who actually committed the violence.

If you traduce someone by calling them a Nazi, or implying that they are a Nazi, you inflame a situation. At least have the guts to own it.

The violent transactivists in that mob would have killed KJK had they reached her - or any other woman who argued "let women speak"

It really wouldn’t have mattered. The mob didn’t see her or her SFW supporters as women, as human beings at all. I saw this morning something about an elderly woman chased and punched in the head. You’d have to stop seeing someone as human, as someone’s Mum and Nan to be able to do that.

Even that cartoon is dehumanising by picturing KJK as the size of an ant, right? The hand is human & male, and it’s coming to squash her while she is pictured in caricature as if she were a tiny insect to be squashed. She’s not portrayed as an equal human being with thoughts, feelings. They can abhor all her views all they want to, but it’s dangerous to strip her of her human dignity.

This. And any of us, too. That's why responsible people and the media need to start getting a handle on the rampant misogyny and handwaving away of violence and threatening behaviour, of this "civil rights movement". And not adding to it.
