I'm not even sure what to say about this, I just find it really shocking.

Baying mobs surrounded the intended event, one got onto the podium and poured red liquid all over KJK and KJK had to be removed amidst a huge crush.

I hope everyone is OK.

Well, they fooled security and KJK both. How else could they get to within 10cm of her otherwise? If they’d seen this was a trans individual getting by KJK with a container holding I know liquid….they’d have stopped them.

Can hardly blame me for seeing a woman too when I have only footage to go by when even the people who were right next to them couldn’t tell.

Any man or woman that commits violence is the one responsible for it.

I’m not familiar with the law in NZ but it’s a Commonwealth Realm so probably not that different to here.

It’s the non-consensual aspect that defines an assault, not the injury (or lack of injury) caused. If physical injury occurs it becomes assault plus ABH (actual bodily harm) or assault plus GBH (grievous bodily harm).

You haven’t used the exact word “deserve” I do admit. But I am summing up the overall impression of your statements which do imply Lidia Thorpe got what she deserved. The ones above and ones like “security had to stop her” and “why the fuck is anyone questioning the necessity of security or their conduct in protecting Posie.”

You have indeed taken the “it wasn’t assault but even if it was assault, she got what she deserved” tactic which is quite disturbing to read when we keep in mind this is regarding what mostly certainly looks like assault and is now being investigated by the police.

There was a post saying something about barrelling in without fact checking or some such. I was responding to that by saying the two minor details that have come to light are immaterial to my points. I was also not the only one who had the same level of knowledge on this thread as other posts do show.
