It seems being the wrong type of women's rights campaigner gets your stall cancelled for not being inclusive!

The women went anyway and stood out in the cold for four hours.

Reporter for local paper was there for the event but didn't even speak to them. Not very impartial.

That's appalling! Can anyone shed some light on the word salad they tweeted to try to justify the exclusion?

Apparently at IWD at Bristol Women's Voice at the City Hall some women leafletted about women's sex based rights, and one woman (quite high up in BWV) tried to physically stop them!

How bloody depressing. IWD in Derby centres males

This extract from the Derby Evening Telegraph article is so depressing. Those who identify as women! What about those of us who ARE women, but don’t identify as such? We can’t identify out of our sex-based oppression. That’s why IWD exists - because women are an oppressed sex class fighting for equality. This takeover by TRAs is actually getting quite scary now.

The volunteer-powered programme which runs from Wednesday, March 8 through to Sunday, March 12 involved a range of activities and events all aimed at uplifting those who identify as women while building a community connection and inspiring creative expression.

It's getting ridiculous. Apparently in there terms and conditions it says if you are a new booking to get in touch with the organiser, the WRN Derbyshire/Staffs missed this do the stall was cancelled with no notification or communication. Thinking it was a mistake it was booked again and communication was started.
If you rad the WRN press release the organiser then accused WRN if hijacking the event and wanting a story.

Comparing the WRN women to the patriarchy is a lie hit. Claiming the women were exploiting the unpaid labour own the women volunteers for their own gain!

Apparently, gasp, they have had other undesirable groups try to book a stall like anti abortion and right wing women.

Basically IWD Derby is only for left wing women (Labour and Communist Party both had stalls as did Derbyshire LGBT and the police) who think men can be women and should be included in our spaces.

Women defending sex-based rights of women are not welcome at the one event in Derby for women.

So IWD Derby was only for the right sort of women? Those whose ideals 100% matched their narrow definition of what a woman is, who they should vote for and their views on abortion.

But they won't be @ArabellaScott, I can feel their smugness & self-satisfaction from where I sit.
