The current Green Party seem to be under a misapprehension as to what the word 'green in their title is supposed to mean. Rather than environmentalism, they seem to be going with this one:
If you say that someone is green, you mean that they have had very little experience of life or a particular job.

With a more serious hat on, the greens are suffering from a severe lack of older more sensible people.

Many People like those individual in the greens and so they routinely out vote anyone who is more sensible.

I'm in the greens but unable to contribute in an active way due to family commitments. I know of GC people working at all levels and they have to remain v secret.

So anyone who fancies joining would be very welcome simply to try to swing votes. There's been increasing kickback from some brave GC greens who are out. Following certain people on twitter helps to know who to vote for in various votes.

An elderly lady fell outside my house today; she was bleeding a lot and yet was extremely keen no one made a fuss and tried to order a taxi to the hospital while clearly feeling unwell. I had to really be quite firm about getting her there in my car, and her wearing my coat when it finally turned up. She really was hard to persuade

I did reflect on her tenacity and resilience and extreme desire not to put anyone out.
