Transgender prisoner “identifies as a baby”

Currently being housed in Scotland’s only woman only prison. They’ve gone to the press unhappy that their case is being reviewed (all transgender prisoners are being reviewed).

I just can’t get past the “identifying as a baby” part! Where does it end?

I can only think of four reasons they might be doing this. They are either mentally ill, indulging in sexual kinks, trying to pull a fast one to get access to vulnerable women, or pulling a fast one to get a cushy time in a womens prison.

So they should either be recieving treatment in a men's prison for their mental illness, or stop being indulged and told to suck it up as they did the crime and got the time.

They can identify as they like, but should get no special treatment for it. Just like a toddler throwing a tantrum, nothing should be gained by this behaviour.

And as for the claim they are vulnerable in a men's prsion, well so are lots of prisoners, not least ex police officers and sex offenders, and the prison service can keep them safe. And if they cannot keep them safe its the service needs to changed not the housing of men in women's spaces.

I mean, he killed another male prisoner and yet it was ok to move him to the female estate.

What's Humza got to say about this then? Is this another 'fake' transperson?

I think he needs to think it through a bit more, he could identify as a prison guard and ask to be given the keys, or identify as an innocent person and demand to be set free 🤷

I'd be interested to know what are his criteria for being considered a genuine trans person?

I'd be more interested to know what SPS and Humza Yousaf's criteria are, given that they apparently consider Eastwood to be genuine enough to be housed in Cornton Vale, but Bryson not genuine.

If this was reported as "prisoner pretends to be a baby" or "prisoner role plays as a baby" or "prisoner believes that he is a baby" or similar then it would be very obvious that this person is either mentally ill, or trying to game the system.

"Identifying as a baby" is not any kind of identity that needs accepting or being automatically kind about. As previously said, it's either a mental illness, a sexual fetish or an affectation.

Why there's no wider public disapproval of this person being in a women's prison is puzzling.

Maybe next week he will identify as a cat and request a move to an animal hospital.

if a man who enjoys role playing as a woman is literally a woman, then a man who enjoys role playing as a baby is literally a baby. He can’t be expected to eat solid food, not until he cuts some teeth.

If he really is this divorced from reality, he should be in a secure hospital where he can get treatment. But I doubt that he is, he is just trying to access vulnerable women to victimise.

Sadly I think it will take a prison officer to be killed by a man pretending to be a woman before these crazy policies are revoked.

They won't care if a woman prisoner gets killed, because they are not seen as worthy of consideration anyway.

If they are a baby they shouldn't be in prison at all, they are below the age of criminal responsibility. They should appeal their conviction.

They referred to Cornton Vale as 'Scotland's only all-female jail', yet the whole article clearly gives the lie to this.

Also a very interesting quote: "I have no history of gender violence", when you have strangled somebody with a shoelace. 'Yes, I am an extremely violent murderer; but I don't do gender violence.'

He strangled a man to death with a shoe lace.

And he's presenting himself as the face of vulnerable prisoners? He took a shoe lace and used it to end his cellmate's life.

Well, considering that your male cell-mate couldn't survive in the male estate, as a direct result of your actions, it's not really helping to paint you as a special vulnerable case, now, is it? What is it with these people? Is it extreme chutzpah, severe delusion or pure narcissism?

I can't get passed the point that someone who killed another by strangling them with a shoe lace "fears they will not survive". She didn't do too bad at surviving the first time as a male in a male prison.

One just doesn't expect policy to be based on accommodating these delusions, lies, or manipulations.

Why is it we never hear anything about Trans Men, but it's non stop about Trans Women?

The more these horrific decisions are publicised the better, they each make the public question the trans issue more and I believe will damage the TWAW campaign.

Its really sad that a right wing rag like the Daily Mail seems to be the main source of these stories.

Its leaving the issue open to be hi-jacked by the extreme right, as part of their anti-woke 'family value' lies, and will be incorporated into their vile racist, pro-life, homophobic and anti-semetic beliefs.

I think its really a feminist and anti-homophobic issue and I think it should sit better with the Left of centre, but the left are all so keen to be seen to be inclusive and accepting of this nonsense.
