Which gives him a problem, as there are three positions here.

1. Any male who identifies as T can use women's spaces, women have no say in this, there are no boundaries or gatekeeping on this in any way and women's safety and rights are irrelevant as those males have become women. If women rape and murder women then oh well, ( entirely toothless individual risk assessment vaguely waved) and it's for the 'greater good'. Women's human rights, privacy, dignity etc in this is just abandoned for the benefit of men.

2. Some males who identify as T can use women's spaces, women still get no say in this, but superior thinking people in positions of responsibility will take into account things like the electorate thinking they've lost their minds and the basic human rights of women becoming a bit of an issue, and will decide which males do and do not get the right to harass, intimidate, exclude and invade women's spaces, privacy and dignity. This means that T is going to be gatekept and cannot be self ID.

3. Any male who identifies as T is T, respected as T and services provided with all protections and accessibility that can be identified into at any time. This will include a range of mixed sex services designated for women alongside female only ones. No male regardless of identity is permitted to use female spaces or to have a legal fiction of being female.

He's faced up to that he can't cope with 1 and it's wrong, plus the electorate are not going to tolerate it because it's unacceptable on multiple fronts. He's now struggling with 2, and hasn't yet clocked it's actually the most prejudiced and unfair position of the lot. I'll wait for him on 3. There is honestly no other way to square this circle.

So, if Humza or anyone else says that one individual who self ids as trans is not actually trans, then is Humza going to follow that individual around making sure they don't go into womens changing rooms & toilets, or rape shelters, or take jobs in hospitals where they examine vulnerable biological women?

After all, how are we supposed to know who the pretend ones are that we don't have to strip in front of if they want us to, so they feel included during their so called 'days of girlhood' without a man to tell us?

Thing is, Adam Graham was already taking advantage, without even a GRC, and no-one was allowed to question it. There was a lot of online comment re the college not knowing about the rape charges etc., but even without that the other women on the course were unhappy. So, we had a "transwoman" (no GRC) who was allowed to be intimate with young women, who were expected to go along with it or be labelled bigots.

It's not just a question of self-ID. He was allowed to do this without any kind of GRC - we need a real pushback here.
