Swap it for ‘man’ or ‘woman’. Why do you feel the need to resort to a tropish comparison to race? Oh yes, that try to make out that discussing this is phobic.
How about discussing whether it raises more alarms that this was someone who was male suspect abducting an 11 year old girl and the potential for sexual assault or abuse and potential violence vs people reading that it was a female suspect ?
How about discussing the reporting aspect of this situation if the media announced to the world that this was a woman because this person identifies as a woman vs a reporting it was a man? ie the facts.
If you justtellingthetruth cared about your name, you would be horrifed to be lied to by media, by the courts, by our elected representatives. Males don’t lose their male patterns of behaviour including crime.
You and a small percentage of the population might like to live in a world where what you want to believe is how things are reported, but you are the minority. Making unfounded accusations of phobia isn’t going to stop people discussing this.
This was a male suspect and there was an overwhelming likelihood it would have been reported as a female suspect. That it hasn’t is a signal to you and others of a similar mind that the general public wants the truth and the tolerance for misrepresentation due to gender identity is dropping every single day.
