From that article:

"Four days after the UK Government announced it was blocking Ms Sturgeon’s Billl_, due to fears the provisions would put women and girls in danger, Miller wrote on Facebook: “But the Transgender Policy. How can Westminster decide what we have decided?” He added: “When we decide in Scotland.. It works for us in Scotland.. Simple as that.”

In another post last month, they said: “Silly Billys in Westminster... Never mess with Scottish Transgender Issues.”"

The Telegraph has really thrown off the trans shackles. Reporting facts honestly, with relevant background details.

the Big Ladybird Book of Whinge

Now there's a book title that needs to be made gender-neutral...! 😉

@ShireWifeofNigelFarage

i just find your posts offensive
again you have been rude
my advice is to consider reflecting

you have accused me of many things that are not true

BezMills · 11/02/2023 05:47

Well this thread has been informative in many ways, even scientifically. I salute your indefatiguability, wims of FWR.

@Justellingthetruth i think accusing people of transphobia and bullying when that is not true in an attempt to stop them talking about a subject Is rude. Why are you so against us discussing the kidnapping of a child?

picklemewalnuts · 11/02/2023 08:31

I admire @Justellingthetruth's determination. It takes something to push on regardless in the face of being thoroughly wrong on so many levels.

What's that saying? Something like 'Oh for the confidence of a mediocre middle aged man!'.

Do you not see your own behaviour? Do you really believe your behaviour from first entering this thread was exemplary?

You have made some serious accusations on this thread. And you seem to not actually understand what it is you are talking about regarding discrimination, while accusing posters of deflecting.

The really is that your posts seem to be based on your very own moral code. They seem moralistic rather than based on knowledge. And you seem to not be able to understand some poster’s user names are not chosen to define them but as satire. I mean really, you throw what you think are well aimed insults at shirewifeofnigelfarage after she has told you it is a satirical name. It would be funny, but you are serious when you are doing it. Which shows a great deal about you than it does about anything shirewife posts. Yet you are accusing shirewife of being offensive and rude.

I suggest you take your own advice here and ‘reflect’.

Inclusing the weird habit you have of telling people they will have to learn to forgive themselves for explaining what discrimination is and isn’t.

Like:

I hope in time you learn to foregive yourself

and

if you are I hope in time you will foregive yourself

and telling people to seek help.

For what?

You don’t seem to be able to recognise your own behaviour here on this thread. I sense there is a lack of self awareness in many aspects of your posts.

Yet you cling to a simplistic polarised concept of discrimination that is detached from the true meaning of the word and only focused on a populist, or maybe ‘faith like’ is more accurate, view of discrimination = bad.

EndlessTea · 11/02/2023 09:06

I am wondering if this thing about telling adults to ‘reflect’ is because of Jo Frost. Naughty step/naughty corner. In my kids’ primary school they had “time out for reflection” where they would go to ‘the reflection room’.

Kids who grew up with it might not realise that it goes only one way, adults tell children to reflect, not the other way around.

ShireWifeofNigelFarage · 11/02/2023 09:11

Here’s my reflection on this thread…

Why do some people, most often male people, find being told ‘No’ so offensive?

Ofcourseshecan · 10/02/2023 20:33

The Telegraph has really thrown off the trans shackles. Reporting facts honestly, with relevant background details.

It’s a beautiful thing to witness.

Well, posters here have explained their feelings to you, to the point of distraction, but you refuse entirely to compromise, or agree that you understand an opinion.

Instead, utterly convinced of your own rectitude and righteousness, you continue to lecture and call people transphobic.

To call others rude is stunning hypocrisy on your part.

Waitwhat23 · 11/02/2023 09:54

'my advice is to consider reflecting' puts me in mind of 'educate yourself' which didn't go that well for TRA's. Loads of women 'educated' themselves about gender ideology and realised how batshit it is.

Like:

“I hope in time you learn to foregive yourself”

and

“if you are I hope in time you will foregive yourself”

and telling people to seek help.

It's usually done to wind people up. To assume a superiority in order to get under people's skin.

Not sure that's worked out in the way the poster intended, tho!

Well it certainly has shown the poster in a supercilious light.

I doubt that was the intention here as you say, considering the poster seems to believe they are the arbitrator of “good” and “bad”. Following in that theme, the false accusations and what seems to be constant projection is quite ‘ugly’.

Helleofabore · 11/02/2023 10:07

I have particularly noted the use of ‘inflammatory’ and the like, from a poster who seems to be either ignorant of their own inflammatory posts, or they are completely lacking in self awareness for whatever reason.

The hypocrisy and dishonesty is very clear to us all.

Kucinghitam · 11/02/2023 10:13

🤷🏻‍♀️ I’d say the hypocrisy, tone-policing, appeals to emotion, and substitution of thought-terminating clichés for actual reasoned discussion are all exactly what being a self-identified RSOHer is all about.

I am finding myself mentally singing "aaaaamen" when I run across one.

And thinking of those elderly ladies in bonnets and crinolines who used to turn up with crucifixes and tragically sing hymns at sinners outside prisons.

Coxspurplepippin · 11/02/2023 10:34

I think Justtellingthetruth could do with a read of the 'break it down for me' thread.

Would probably have been wiser to read that before coming on here to tell everybody how awful they are.

here you are Just, grab a cuppa and have a read. It's illuminating.

Happylittlechicken · 11/02/2023 10:47

is “Foregive yourself” the new “repent motherfucker”?

Waitwhat23 · 11/02/2023 10:52

Break out the tambourine!

Boiledbeetle · 11/02/2023 10:55

@Justellingthetruth you could have reflected on why your post having a go at @ShireWifeofNigelFarage at 19.42 yesterday was deleted. Instead you just carry on the same way this morning.

Justellingthetruth · 11/02/2023 11:28

@Boiledbeetle

so many discriminatory bullies on here it's untrue.

so many nasty views against people who are different

no one said taking a child was ok.

someone pointed out how horrid it is to pick on a certain sort of group of people.

and look at the insults I got.

you should all be ashamed

EndlessTea · 11/02/2023 11:32

I think it must be quite comforting to experience the attention of mums even if it is disapproval.
