Cant say I have heard of Radical Notion. They say:

It seems quite expensive to subscribe but they have made this issue free to read online. A lot of it seems to be the ongoing antagonism (meaning the issues are real but seem to be motivated as much by personal fallouts) between radical feminist and socialist feminist gender critical women.

Some may remember this thread www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/4662757-womens-place-uk-filia-event-the-elephant-ignored-yet-again and the revelation that WPUK seems to now be linked to the group Actual Gender Critical Left, who endlessly snipe about Karin Dansky and KJK.

Anyhow posting in case anyone wants to have a read.

Still not sure why some women think in the day of virtual opportunites to talk directly to other women, they need to go down the routed of "publishing" as though their ideas are somehow special and shouldn't be submitted to the rough and tumble on online forums like this one!

Or maybe this poster forgot what they posted, didn’t read back and now thinks no one else is going to read back to see if it is a valid claim or whether the fuckwittery was accurately pointed out.

And that anyone commenting will have insults flung at them in what can only be described as a defensive move of someone who seems discombobulated by their re-arrival into the realm.

Well, it was never a boring thread.

I am sure that Nige was enjoying the fact though, that people keep invoking his name to denigrate women who disagree with the denigrator.

Talk about giving a male so much more attention than he ever deserved and yet, not by those on the receiving end of having Nige flung around.

Poor Nige, he must had been very sore and tired from being flung around so much.

Just to clarify, I don’t think I have ever demanded an explanation for a post over 6 weeks old though. That does seem bizarre behaviour.

Mind you, I have also don’t tend to leave threads or accusations unaddressed at the time they have been made.

Is there an etiquette on MN for that kind of thing? If you effectively flounce and have a long dinner that lasts 6 weeks, do you have any moral ground for reviving a thread demanding answers ?

Well, I guess maybe winter takes that long to 'reflect' so they can come back and 'bully' others flinging out insults which really takes some lack of self awareness.

I am now so curious I am going back to refresh my memory. But if I remember correctly this was a poster who arrived on the thread and made some tropish accusations about 'right wing' and how shocking this board had become compared to its wonderful beginnings. Because I remember being curious and looking back to the start of this board and wondering 'what the fuck, the beginnings of this board closely resemble the current feminist chat board and maybe this poster in on the wrong board but is determined to shame as many women as possible.'

Well this is quite helpful actually

Did winter really respond to a post just last night that was written days before winter told us 'bye all' on 07/02/2023 12:29. winter posted many times between the post they responded to if I remember correctly? The post from last night is deleted now, so I am not quite sure.

What I remember is that in February there was a number of posters who were either professed past regulars or current new regulars who ended up writing shaming posts while denying that they were shaming posts. And some posters who came onto the board with posts about 'compromises' that were so fucking tone deaf to the history of this board and what has been discussed in depth and for a very long time.

It was same old, same old really, but with a more intense flavour.

Maybe a mix up at the bot farm?
