Being live streamed now. Anyone listening? They're explaining the gender critical movement to students. I won't link but she's making them giggle a lot by the sounds of things

So, I just listened to a bit more. Starting from where it had stopped when I fell asleep before. It's at 1.16 ish where she introduced the idea that despite spending ages 'trying to get GCs to like her and humanise herself to them' you just can't get them to eschew some of the MOST EXTREME stuff that outspoken 'GCs' like Helen Joyce and JKR say, you just can't get them to agree even when the statements are EXTREMIST.

Example given, with a straight face, "they go along with things like absolutely no tw or trans girls in women's toilets'" ERM YES.

"But you won't hear them say such extremist things on TV or in a conversation, so they may say 'i don't think men should be in women's soaces' and I would think 'i don't want men in women's spaces' either' " Giggle.

Honestly, truly. How is wanting single sex spaces a an extremist position. And how can you think that's a pov that people aren't happy to express? I express it all the time!

And how could the people listening think that KM is representing anything accurately there. Because as we've seen from the prisons furore, the vast majority of the general public understand what sex based segregation is and why we have it too.

The above is the beginning on a segment on 'dog whistles, when people don't say what they mean' and this is an example apparently. But it's not. Because we do mean that, and "no men in womens spaces" = no TW in women's toilets for anyone with a grip on reality and an understanding of biological sex.
