When trans rights trumps children's safety

This story has come about in my local area:

An elderly man spotted wearing a girl’s school uniform near a Leigh secondary school and on a bus “does not pose a risk”, according to police who have urged the public to stop sharing photos of him.

uk.news.yahoo.com/police-man-seen-outside-leigh-163212326.html

This old man is riding school buses and hanging around schools in full girl's uniform and bad wig.

Apparently the schools have had to arrange special assemblies to brief children not to travel alone.

But police don't want anyone to share images of this man online and he has told them that he is not a risk.

He's clearly not trans, but I fear that the police are so scared of the subject that they're allowing this behaviour to continue.

Surely its anti social behaviour and he can be warned, a restriction put in place, together with an adult safeguarding referral, and the community reassured.

That's what should happen and what used to happen not that long ago. Going back further when I was at school in the 80's brazen creeps like this were often given a kicking and sent on their way. Child protection was the priority not this warped existence we now live in.

Something more respectable, like trousers, wouldn't attract deviance, would it?

Get away to fuck, you gobshite.

Exactly ad infinitum! 'Respectable' Hmm those dreadful females for shame!!

Very interesting reaction. My college and school had the uniform controlled by women. Girls don't have much choice, and I have not blamed them for the St Trinian's effect. I thought I hinted at others being responsible. I have a strong suspicion that male heads and governors have an input into the short skirts. The resukt being that anyone who wants to can saunter by at the appropriate, or inappropriate, time, to see gaggles of teenage legs traversing the school surroundings.
And yes, I know that women and girls get raped in all sorts of wear - I think Karen Armstrong was while still wearing her habit, but that's no reason to put out bait, is it? When we know that that particular dress feeds sharks. I wasn't victim blaming.

But this is all irrelevant as the girls can wear trousers and this man is loitering around.

Plus we are talking about both primary and secondary schools.

We would occasionally get warnings (primary) about loiterers, but nothing like this. Very occasionally - I think once or twice in my entire career. And something I wondered about. A parent, not a very nice one, had bought a house next to our field, and he raised an objection when there was a scheme to turn part of the field into a staff car park. He'd bought his house so he could look out on children playing, not on cars. The consensus of opinion was that he was so innocent that he didn't realise what that could sound like. And also wanted to allow his boys out there to play at weekends.

Some liars can be very believable.

Nobody knows a person as well as their victim(s).

In fairness, I’d rather live next to playing fields than a car park.
