It looks to me like he's either changed his mind, or is playing fast and lose with what the word "sex" means.
I'm guessing that Starmer believes people can change sex. So single sex spaces and attraction are not affected because you can identify as whatever sex you want.

But that's how the playbook works. Bullshit to get the rules changed, and then it's too late. As he's a lawyer the only possible expanation is that he doesn't give a toss about women's rights or lying because he must know single sex spaces are currently based on sex not feefees.
