There was this guy who lived in my street for a while and I didn't know what he did as a job, just saw him leave for work etc.

I bumped into him in town one lunchtime, as I walked past the the Cathedral, just a quick hi, bye type thing. He's was in full garb with the dog collar and everything coming out of a ⛪ so, as you would, I assumed he was a vicar (I say vicar I honestly don't know if that is right)

until I sat down to watch something on the tele one night a few months later and playing the role of the vicar in a cathedral was my neighbour.

This person is not the first non binary C of E priest. I know one, they just happen to not be attention seeking or talk about eyeshadow. The one I know is very down to earth (and FTNB)

You may be right but teenagers and young people always have angst. I think the number of people who really and truly feel they are in the wrong body into adult hood is actually tiny. It's really important I think to allow especially youngsters to explore and develop without taking every thing they say and feel as how they will feel aged 25! @goldismything I think, and I don't know your age, but a lot of us here seem to be of an era where it was acceptable, True Romantics etc and Madonna! And perms!

But you could actually truly be you but in the body, the only body, you were ever going to have. And most people didn't have a problem. But our choices didn't impact on anyone's else's lives or their rights. And yes there are those that fell into the tiny amount of people that felt wrong. The same tiny amount that had existed in each generation. That truly had to change as much as they could in order to survive their life.

So why suddenly are we seeing this in numbers that statistically dont make sense.
