While critics shouted “shame on you” at the MSPs. One woman lifted their skirt and showed what initially appeared to be her genitals.

The woman shouted, “if you are not going to be decent, I am going to be indecent.”

However, it later transpired that she had been wearing some form of fake pubic wig.

According to the Scotsman, police did not arrest the individual immediately, however, the force has since received complaints and enquiries are ongoing.

Well, when you've said "I'm going to be indecent", "this isn't the last minge you'll see" and "get it right up you", you have very much set out that you want to be indecent, you are doing this to offend, and you are representing what you are flashing as genitalia.

If a man flashes but has a fake dick stuck to his pants, the intent to harm, express power and offend remains.

I don't think "if you look closely, what I flashed wasn't actually my genitals, but rather fake genitals I constructed, and was referring to as genitals" is a good defence against flashing, nor a good precedent to set.

Ive been flashed too. It’s horrible.

Screaming like an idiot and flashing fake pubes is pretty distasteful. Especially considering the issues at stake which were about single sex spaces and privacy and dignity for women.

im not saying she should be prosecuted but I’d like to see her fade away into obscurity. There are enough exhibitionist narcs in this fight as it is.

Been subjected to indecent exposure - “flashing” sounds fun!funny!! and it really bloody isn’t - more times than I want to remember, especially as a younger woman. Don’t know why but mostly outside the UK.

It always left me shaken, unnerved, intimidated.

to be honest it goes without saying that such behavior is undesirable. No sane person needs a list or an explanation as to why that is not helpful for a cause.

its really important to me to stop so called gender self identification. We are already struggling and I don’t want our movement damaged by Narcissists desperate for attention.
