Continuation of Thread 1

There is so much excellent information and so many active discussions on FWR that I wondered if it would be useful to have a thread to sort of "cross-fertilise" between them - airing little thoughts or vignettes that wouldn't themselves merit their own thread, to highlight other posts/threads of particular interest or to point to notable developments on fast-moving threads so that casual observers know where to look.

(For example, "the X thread has meandered onto a fascinating discussion of Y" or "Poster P's amazing analysis on thread Z might have relevance to the scenario in thread W" or even "Random bloke asked me to smile while I was choosing onions, grr"- that sort of thing).

I honestly spent a lot of time trying to understand the answers to each question. It was like doing a quiz designed by the Mad Hatter and co.

But we are what we the totally awesome internet quiz designers say we are.

Bring on the trans mumsnet Terfs massive.

Such fun.

Cake anyone?

Which reminds me lovely neck tattoo there cake. You did it yourself though i notice, it's slightly wonky at the back.

IcakedefargeIam · 22/01/2023 19:04

Bugger! I'll just keep my hair down.

Gonners · 22/01/2023 19:04

Kucinghitam · 22/01/2023 18:59

Oh dear @Gonners, what did you say to literally harm TRSOH?

Something quite unusually anodyne, even by my high standards of dullness.

IcakedefargeIam · 22/01/2023 19:04

It's OK, I'll help tidy it up....laughs maniacally. Fires up never used before tattoo gun. Mwah ah ha ha

IcakedefargeIam · 22/01/2023 19:12

Nope, it's okay. I've just remembered. I've got a choker I stopped wearing because the zigzag design made it look like I'd had my head sewn on.

Now it seems strangely prophetic.

So, young lady, put that down before somebody gains a third eye!

artant · 22/01/2023 19:39

I’m also transsexual according to that quiz. The definition of transsexual seems to suggest I’ve had surgery. You’d think I’d remember something like that.

Remember that really drunken night six months ago when you woke up with bandages everywhere and a cock.....yeah neither do I But apparently it happened.

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2023 19:44

Oh and @IcakedefargeIam young lady! Why thanks😊

Ps you need to book your opticians appointment

IcakedefargeIam · 22/01/2023 19:48

You're not the first blurry blog to suggest that. Probably explains why the tatt went wonky.

DeanVolecapeAKAelderberry · 22/01/2023 20:07

It stopped working very soon for me - I seemed to get given an option to say all my friends were exclusively either the same sex or the opposite sex, no exception, so I picked that (dur) and seemed to break it.

weaseleyes · 22/01/2023 20:19

I also appear to be transsexual.

No wonder I needed a c-section.

IcakedefargeIam · 22/01/2023 20:26

That explains mine, now I can stop feeling guilty.

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2023 20:29

Funny how we are all transsexual isn't it.

None of the other catergories, just that one?

dunBle · 22/01/2023 20:42

I had to stop at the next one:
"Who do you like to date?" with a scale of "women only" to "everyone's welcome in my heart", so anyone who's exclusively male attracted can't answer it.

DeanVolecapeAKAelderberry · 22/01/2023 20:50

actually, you're right, I got that far too and was stumped.

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2023 20:56

I just tried again but got kicked out after three questions but I did screen shot the second Question which had me stumped as to how the fuck to answer.

Is it just me or is it complete bollocks?

'made them friends more easily' has a taming feral cats vibe. I picture myself with a really big crate putting bowls of delicious food nearer and nearer to the door and then slamming it shut on them.

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2023 21:20

It's a perfect example of GARBAGE IN GARBAGE OUT

DeanVolecapeAKAelderberry · 22/01/2023 21:29

But it is perfectly true that all my close buddies have been either my same sex or the other sex. Even the cat - he did get surgery, but it didn't change his sex.

Gonners · 22/01/2023 21:52

That question reads as though it's been put through Google Translate.

BinturongsSmellOfPopcorn · 22/01/2023 22:45

There's no 'no'.

And having spent a bit of time on the multiple negatives of the final option I have to disagree - as I have never had a pet snail, all my friends have had a sex that is either the same as mine or the opposite to mine. That's how mammals work.

BinturongsSmellOfPopcorn · 22/01/2023 22:47

Oh no - hang on. That's an agree, isn't it? Nobody who is neither has, because nobody is neither.

However, that answer isn't an answer to the original question.

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2023 22:48

Where the fuck is the men option? Are they the small insignificant blob in the middle?

<resists obvious joke>

I restarted when I got to that question, thinking I must have clicked an option by accident that made that question make sense.
