Transwomen chosen to represent memorial for the massacre of 15 female students in Canada

The memorial in honour of women murdered because of their sex was represented by a transwomen (Fae) who gave a speech about ‘gender based’ violence.
One woman- Jennifer Anne asked him a question at the end ‘on how women can be safe when there are men like him gaslighting us.’

Does this mean that on the next Trans day of remembrance we'll have Karen Ingala Smith saying that once again no transwomen had been murdered in the UK, and then reading out the names of all the women murdered by men, while everyone present stands in respectful silence, and the event gets coverage on all the main media outlets?

Canada, where we drive women to despair and then offer to euthanize them.

I wonder who's going to do all the service provision, shit work and enabling when all the service animals have been driven out?

No one's thought that one through. Those entitled to make the demands, have the feelings and command the running around meeting their needs aren't going to do it for each other. A servant class is essential.

And servants get pissed off and have revolutions.

I'd suggest we fill the space with the list of the British women raped by males in prisons and hospital wards. That's a growing body count right there. Actual harm, actual people, actual literal violence.

Didn't they do this last year too? I remember because it was the first time I'd heard of this massacre and read up a lot on it after reading the thread.

When I saw this story today I assumed somebody had inadvertently recycled a report from last year. More fool me to assume lightning couldn't strike twice. 4w.pub/trans-identified-male-speakingpei/

The mostly younger, gullible women who enable all these misogynists will have to step up, I guess. Good luck to them. Feminists who centre women are here for you when the penny drops.

bellinisurge · 07/12/2022 14:56

I'm sure the little dahlings get off on it.

RaininginDarling · 07/12/2022 15:12

What a profound insult to the memory of those murdered women. Murdered for being adult human females.

Delphinium20 · 07/12/2022 16:04

So many insults to women. Fae would have left alive that terrible day and Fae damn well knows it. Probably gets off on some sick fantasy of begging to live. Or has some twisted jealous wish to be immortalized. I suspect nothing but the most messed up motives for Fae to do this.

KatMcBundleFace · 07/12/2022 16:21

Unsurprisingly Fae is melting down on twitter.

I've not looked through all the responses to the original situation but it's overwhelmingly women horrified by how inappropriate it was to include Fae in this memorial service.
Fae claims women are criticising Fae's looks etc, which is odd cos I just see them criticising Fae's sex.

We don't sink to TRA levels Fae, cos we know you'd use that against women.

Fae has a little "yey prostitution" moment too.... 🤮

Why mention sex work in this context? Baffled, quite frankly

The ratio was absolutely brutal on the Durham College Twitter account:

Male indignant that females' main priority in remembering murdered females is not to nurture and prioritise male feelings.

Yeah whatever.

Thinks it's a more appropriate occupation for women than engineering maybe?Hmm

Ffs. Complete non sequitur

Looks as if being a woman and being a prostitute are inextricably linked in Fae’s mind.

ErrolTheDragon · 07/12/2022 16:45

Having just checked that persons Twitter thread, I don't think the swerf tweet was specifically in the context of the École Polytechnique remembrance.

I was looking to see if there was any relevance to having this person as a speaker, however tenuous. Wtf couldn't they have invited, ooh, let's think, a female engineer?

stealthsquirrelnutkin · 07/12/2022 17:27

Is there any way of persuading punters to direct their custom solely towards transwomen? So many transwomen seem to consider prostitution affirming and sexy, and as far as I am concerned they'd be more than welcome to it.

They're a lot bigger and stronger than real women, so they'd have a better chance of protecting themselves.

If enough of them departed to take up new, super empowering careers servicing Johns, then their current jobs could become available to the women escaping prostitution.

It would be lovely for those women to get a chance to work in a clean, civilised job, well paid job, servicing computers instead of male deviants. Also the job security and pension plan will be loads better.

Damn, it's times like this that I really wish I had a magic wand. I'd have all the pro-prostitution shills on their knees serving smelly knobs for less than minimum wage, and Nicola Sturgeon would be waking up to find herself sharing a cell with Katie Dolatowski. The only way that scenario could be improved would be if it was televised.

CountZacular · 07/12/2022 18:20

"So-called feminists". What the fuck is wrong with this individual. This attack was billed as an 'anti-feminist' massacre so making shitty comments like that just shows how incredibly unsuitable this twat was to speak.

I really do despair. I've been at boiling level anger for some time but I've actually cried over this today. I can't believe the outright disrespect - no, actual hatred - so many people have for women. The idiot speaking, the organisers, everyone who cheered this utter twat on.

stillvicarinatutu · 07/12/2022 18:26

That's a massive insult and the fact the speaker didn't even answer the question, just a thank you and next -

Who thought this a great idea ? Women murdered for being women and they get a man in womenswear to address the memorial? That is some kind of fucked up.

Mumoftwoinprimary · 07/12/2022 18:46

It’s the fact that they have done it twice in a row that is so shocking.

Once and maybe - just maybe - you could think that maybe they are just believers that TWAW so they believed that they were inviting a woman. (Would be more believable if the trans woman was an engineer and had been to the college but hey.)

But twice and that means that they have actually sat down and said “we want to make a political point in support of trans women. A memorial about murdered women is just perfect for that.”

ErrolTheDragon · 08/12/2022 00:41

It’s the fact that they have done it twice in a row that is so shocking.

It's a different 'they' I think - but you'd have thought the organisers of this college would have noted women's reaction elsewhere last year.

nilsmousehammer · 08/12/2022 00:55

Which would suggest it is quite intentional and deliberate provocation.

As on another thread today, it honestly looks like some people actually get off on this bullying of women.

It really does, doesn't it?

MrsTerryPratchett · 08/12/2022 01:53

The men were allowed to leave during the massacre.

THAT says it all.

Just disgraceful.
Tone deaf , ignorant arrogant grandstanding man .
