From the DM: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11392601/Transgender-paedophile-caught-duping-staff-71-day-stay-domestic-violence-refuge.html

A paedophile duped staff into letting her stay at a domestic violence refuge for women and children for 71 days.

She sexually assaulted a ten-year-old girl in a supermarket toilet and secretly filmed another in 2018 and has been in court several times since.

A refuge guest and mum of three said that as a victim of sexual abuse, the situation was 'triggering'.

She said she came to the refuge with her children as she thought it was somewhere safe and that it was horrendous discovering a paedophile had been living there for months.

The mum added: 'I saw her several times hanging around where the prams are parked, she is tall and skinny with long brown hair and always wore a blue surgical mask. The whole thing makes my skin crawl.

I just saw this article. Pissed me off no end the amount of times they out she in the article. Its a fucking man, a dirty pervert who likes children. Call him exactly what he is. A man who is an absolute danger to girls. He should have been thrown into a male jail the first time and let the inmates sort him.

NewBootsAndRanty · 05/11/2022 15:13

This guy was supported by Leeds women's aid, whose hostels/refuges were full when I needed them?
Great.

Why were they in a refuge anyway? Their mum had a place (that they were thrown out of later because they were not supposed to stay there later in because of their record and the fact it was on a scheme with lots of kids).

So The SNP don’t actually DO anything to keep people like this in line or protect the public from people like this? They assume that this person can just go into a refuge with vulnerable women and kids? So vulnerable women and kids (remember they targeted little girls) are down the pecking order of people like this?

ok. Gotcha.

He arrived back at his mum's house before the court case. I live locally and assume he was moved from there as a group that protests paedophiles were going to protest outside the house within the past few weeks.

Where is he now?

Pineapple41 · 05/11/2022 15:21

What @Butitsnotfunnyisititsserious says. Shame on those reporting this man as “she”.

NotAnotherPylon · 05/11/2022 15:23

He, he, he, he. Just replacing some of those she's. Like other posters, I'm sick of reading newspaper articles where they pander to this 'she' nonsense. This is a MAN - who is a paedophile.

HirplesWithHaggis · 05/11/2022 15:30

I don't like Sturgeon or her policies, but I don't see how she is responsible for Leeds WA.

No, but her policies are responsible for pretty much every other bit of the mess. And she wants to make it worse.

He was living in Scotland i think. He assaulted a child in a supermarket in Fife. If NS has her way men like this can enter any womens spaces and cannot be challenged.

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 05/11/2022 15:40

That’s disgraceful and disgraceful of the Daily Mail to refer to him as ‘she’.

KittenKong · 05/11/2022 16:26

And I wish they’d stop using that sillly photos with the bear ears and nose. Or do they ID as a bear?

Abitofalark · 05/11/2022 18:35

It riles me to read this 'she' and 'her' of such a creep. It's not clear if this is the OP's wording or the Mail's.

The Mail, like all media outlets, have their hands tied by IPSO (the Independent Press Standards Organisation) in referring to "trans" individuals.

So can't tell the truth. It's not allowed.

KimWexlersPonyTail · 05/11/2022 18:58

My local Womens Aid shelter had to rename and drop the word women from the title to obtain funding. We women must not be allowed to have anything for ourselves.....

PriOn1 · 05/11/2022 19:21

”Chief executive of Leeds Women's Aid Nik Peaswood said the centre was appalled that someone who had committed the crimes Dolatowski had would be able to gain access to the refuge.”

”She continued: 'We are aware a criminal using authenticated identification could access any housing provider's services and we are not unique in being manipulated in this way.'”

And what factor is the most likely predictor of who will be a sexual abuser?

And who has been admitted, who wouldn’t have been admitted previously, regardless of whether he had false documents or not?

They are pretending this is complex when it really isn’t.

YelenaBlackWidow · 05/11/2022 19:40

@PriOn1 they would have been admitted had they used their real ID had they not had convictions, as they were in separate Trans accommodation, admittedly with a shared garden. When they discovered the convictions, the person was arrested, I'm not sure on what charge, possibly parole violation?

YelenaBlackWidow · 05/11/2022 19:42

Ramblingnamechanger · 05/11/2022 09:49

We know that many male offenders have been victims of violence or abuse but that doesn’t mean we should house them with women and children.

They apparently have separate Trans accommodation in that hostel, admittedly with a shared garden and wouldn't have admitted them were they aware of the convictions.

Another one of those things that "never happens"

I keep hearing this 'never happens' all to the time, why do you say it? Trans people are the same as everyone else not saints so I don't know why this 'never happens' is repeated like it's some kind of gotcha. Obviously bad things happen, in this case because the person used an alias. They need to check documentation more thoroughly. The trouble is this will impinge on desperate women who have escaped e.g. domestic abuse without their I.D.

Quoting to amplify this.

Don't get angry at the journalists, get angry at the TRA pressure groups that have successfully gagged them by lobbying their standards organisation behind closed doors.

It is so obvious that the only way this ideology gains traction is in the dark. They claim fear and distress when hearing things they don't want to hear to make sure they never have to make a transparent public case for change.

Is that really the action of someone who thinks they are in the right? It seems far more typical of someone who knows what they are doing is wrong to me.

Ramblingnamechanger · 05/11/2022 19:55

Yelena I know the place. Never used to admit men, and not suitable anyhow for them now. There is no need for Womens Aid to be taking on this branch of work. Presume it was to get funding as Leeds City Council has been Stonewalled.

Ramblingnamechanger · 05/11/2022 19:57

And criminals often change their identity, by deed poll or GRA or because they self identify. Which is why we don’t want any of them near women and children.

"Trans people are the same as everyone else not saints"

Similarly, most men are not bad. However, some are, and some types of abuse are overwhelmingly committed by men. We have women-only spaces not because all men are bad and all women are saints, but because for certain crimes, keeping men out significantly reduces the risk for women.

Bad trans women are committing the same types of abuse as bad men, so why do trans women get a free pass into women's spaces when other male people do not?

Right, but they already said they don't admit criminals. Or do you mean trans people in general? If they've been funded to house trans women with no convictions they need to amend their policies to enforce the no convictions part which clearly didn't happen in this case. People don't get different social security numbers when they change their name, it's easy enough to cross check.

YelenaBlackWidow · 05/11/2022 20:09

I get that, I understand what you're saying, I'm questioning why people say on these types of threads 'they say it never happens!' In a sarcastic? way. Who is it that's maintaining it doesn't happen when it obviously does. Genuine question, I would like to know who says it and means it!

Tryfull · 05/11/2022 20:10

"This never happens" is what people say when they are calling us bigots for being concerned about vulnerable women and children. It is often argued that no trans person would ever pretend to be something that they're not (ironic) just to get access to women and children. And then when it does happen they either refuse to believe it's true, minimise it and say its a one off, or say well bad people are just going to be bad anyway so 🤷

Are you in the US? Because social security numbers are only used as ID in the States.

No such thing in the UK
