Hey, it's nothing worse, and a great deal better, than most women have had to deal with if they dared express dissent on this topic outside mumsnet.

You only realise how bad it is, when you list out all the particularly unpleasant incidents, at once.

It really is back to no debate isnt it. Let the boys talk in the corridors of power and the backroom because I'm used to talking to politicians. We can't talk on twitter because women are mean (and screenshot things).

is very different from
"we should debate what's best for the lives of people with very complex issues"
Debating what's the best course of action to ensure the best outcome for people with complex issues is the only way to arrive at the best course of action for those people. But religion doesn't accept any challenge to the orthodox view, because that would challenge the power and position of the high priests. This is not about what's best for trans people or people who think they might be trans, it's about maintaining power and prestige for the priests at the top of the pyramid.

Bit late Iain, it's just a bit too late ...and if the lives of the people you don't wish to 'debate' require the lives of all people, including children, to bow down to an ideology built on sand in their thoughts, words and actions then quite honestly you'd be best of sticking to Twitter as it doesn't work in the real world.**

Stonewall were quick to appoint Aimee Challenor to that trans advisory group when the paedophile scandal involving them emerged from the Green Party. That was when I understood how dangerous Stonewall had the potential to be to children. They "advised" schools yet openly appointed someone with that history.

Iain doesn’t like the sunlight pouring in on Stonewall , Crispin Blunt and all the other dealings going on in private. Too late the time of no debate is over, women won’t wheesht about safety, privacy, dignity and safeguarding children.

I wouldn’t trust Iain as far as I could throw him. After the Nolan series on Stonewall exposed their appalling behaviour it should have been shut down, and it still should. What Stonewall have done to women’s rights & children is unforgivable. LGB Alliance would do well to keep well away from them.

LGB Alliance membership is mainly straight people. Why would they have them on.

Because they are a charity involved with protecting the rights of the LGB community. If you want only people who are L, G, or B to be spoken to about this there are plenty of LGBA members who tick one of those boxes.

The only people doing the shouting are the masked, mainly male, thugs shouting down women who want to speak about issues that affect real women!

But you do not represent the LGB community if the majority of your membership are straight.
