“As far as we are aware” just doesn’t cut it. ANY group that works with children in any way should have robust safeguarding checks in place whereby someone with this person’s lengthy and well known online activity is picked up? JG did not get a gig at the Palladium without already being very well known in JGs circle or allies? Even the advertising poster for the gig would make people question their suitability as a patron of a children’s charity FFS.

I'm only just catching up with this person. I didn't know Gray was even part of this organisation, even in the role of patron.

But, that should be something that this charity was fully aware of when maintaining the patron position.

And yes, they should understand that a person stripping for no relevant reason like this (and there would be very few relevant reasons) means lack of understanding boundaries or having too few of their (the patron in question’s) own.
