Has anyone actually looked into the organisation. Obviously they were a catalyst for the Trent School case and then there is the Jordan saga. Yesterday there was a Telegraph article where Ofsted reported that they don’t endorse any organisation but if you Google Ofsted Educate and Celebrate all the schools come up with pretty much the same text along the lines of seen as best practice by Ofsted and the DfE. They run similar award schemes to Stonewall in schools. Just to add I did watch a video by one of the schools about the training. Included was training for teachers on the ‘new language’ (all the different genders - I guess) sixth formers taking assemblies on pronouns and also something about ‘diversity’ prefects (not sure if that’s the exact term). All seems very ideological.

A bit of a tangent but there's a thread of tweets via fair cop from safe school alliance. A woman is crowdfunding to try to get ? to stop hiding what children are being taught in schools by outside agencies. I'm not sure if this is linked to the freedom of information that was refused recently on the grounds of copyright (?).

Interesting that in the statement Educate and Celebrate make some considerable effort to avoid using pronouns for Jordan.

So, either Educate and Celebrate either knew Jordan Gray was going into school on the organisation's behalf, and are now lying about it, or they didn't know, in which case their due diligence is as spectacularly hopeless as Mermaids's.

Then again, what is so awful about Jordan Gray from Educate and Celebrate's point of view? If they're happy to boast about Miss Tess Tickle going to talk to children on their behalf, why is Gray so much less acceptable?

If organisations start to listen about Tatchell's background, that is another positive.

If Tatchell stopped being wheeled out as some kind of wise elder and organisations (particularly media) were upfront in saying - there is some dubiousness to this person's 'explanations' of their previous statement and writings as to their appropriateness to have any to do with children... yes. that would be a bonus.

I have yet to come across any trans activist that will say publicly whether they agree or disagree with Tatchell. They just try to ignore the question.

There used to be a poster here, brilliant on safe-guarding and kept bringing issues back to it. IIRC she got banned.
