Better or worse than 'people'?

What would you consider the better wording then? Girls get pregnant, sadly, not just women. Anyone seems entirely appropriate.

Yes, but there can be more than one way to say the same thing. It doesn't mean either is wrong.

"Pregnant women" might well sound redundant to a lot of people, I think for many "anyone pregnant" might sound more natural.

I’ll go with that when we get ‘anyone with a penis’ or ‘anyone with a prostate’. If ‘anyone pregnant’. is clear and accurate so are the others. So why are they not used?
