Jennifer Scott, registered nurse from New Zealand gives a presentation to educate on puberty blockers whilst under suspension for her beliefs.
Not seen anything else on here about her. Looks to be very recent (Sept 22)

Are you Maori? Just questioning because you think you can decide an entire group including many Maori that you don’t know, have no mana. Bad for anyone to say but particularly if pakeha and using our words to be so vile.

I don’t think anyone who condones and minimises domestic violence of women and girls should have their voices and opinions amplified, but they’re in government. Funny how you’ll completely dismiss this women on unrelated issues but you’ve not said anything about the fact most kiwis completely disregard violence against women when it comes to the all blacks, including the PM.

Anyway, I support anyone speaking out on this issue regardless of what they think elsewhere on vaccinations! I couldn’t give a fuck about that.

This also a great kiwi channel, here speaking about Dept of Ed and what they’re teaching our children in Nz:

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 07:52

I think anyone that either supports or says nothing about the use of puberty blockers in children has shown they’re not capable or trustworthy enough to be healthcare professionals. There’s quite a lot of them in NZ.

WahineToa. My ‘position’ is that nurses that believe Covid vaccinations are part of a global conspiracy to poison people have demonstrated that:

  1. They are neither suitable or capable of working as a healthcare professional.
  2. Their opinions are uninformed, unscientific, and idiotic.
  3. They do not deserve to have the voices and opinions amplified.

What was it you said about tone policing on another thread where you posted a thread clearing indicating your derision for this board?

And yet you are actively policing discussion here.

Hypocritical of you, no?

And what is it about protests that irks you so much that you posted a victim blaming post about how Fred Sargeant, a founder of the Pride movement, was responsible for his own assault by peacefully protesting at Pride about how far that event has moved from the principles of its creation and creators.

A lone 70-something year old man who was a pioneer of gay rights movements was peacefully protesting and was assaulted and you told us that he was to blame for his assault.

Please stop policing who users and readers of this board should or shouldn’t watch, listen to or read. If anything, your own views come across extreme so perhaps you look at this nurses actions differently to others who would like to make up their own mind.

Helleofabore · 11/10/2022 08:10

Clearly not clearing.

Oh joy of joys. I have a stalker of my very own. What a wonderful day. Shall we go to the park and fulfil your weird stalkerish fantasies together?

Pushing back against a person who has engaged in vocal and persistent opposition to covid vaccines is a community service. You can thank me later.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:14

Pushing back against a person who has engaged in vocal and persistent opposition to covid vaccines is a community service.

No it isn’t, it just makes you look insane. It also has nothing to do with the topic of the video.

why aren’t you answering my question, are you Maori? Using the word ‘mana’ and declaring an entire group, most who were completely non-violent’ and many who are Maori, have none is a shitty thing to do for anyone. If pakeha as well then you’ve exposed yourself for who and what you are quite spectacularly.

Why are you derailing?
Can you change sex? Should we send children down a road of self mutilation?

TheClogLady · 11/10/2022 08:20

Being against vaccine mandates is a perfectly mainstream opinion.

Bit bored of purity spirals now.

Helleofabore · 11/10/2022 08:23

A stalker? Me? No. I just read threads here and remember user names sometimes when they seem to be only about shaming people for discussing the rights of women and children. Your username has cropped up on several threads. Particularly your posts about Fred Sargeant.

Perhaps my comment about your opinions being extreme were rather more accurate than I expected.

I suspect that your intention is not to push back against a person who has engaged in vocal and persistent opposition to covid vaccines is a community service.

It seems from your history that you don’t seem to support the discussion here about the protection of rights for women and children against conflicts of another group. I would suggest your aim is more about this than covid protests.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:23

the madness of thinking that way. You can tell who has actually had to fight for their rights though. Maori women don’t have the luxury of only associating with people that think the same way as us on every little thing, we’d never get anything done that way.

Helleofabore · 11/10/2022 08:32

Rather interesting to see someone declare a post pointing bout their own posting history as ‘stalker’ material, while that person is attempting to use this nurse’s history to discredit them. Maybe not insane, but certainly hypocritical and lacking in self awareness.

And extreme.

That it has nothing to do with the video is a tactic well used by those who don’t want discussion about the video. As we know.

MauisLeftNipple · 11/10/2022 08:33

Another friend of Counterspin Media has also spoken out against trans ideology. She is also a rabid antivaxxer and conspiracy theorist - she has lost her FB page for these reasons. People like her are the reason why many thousands of NZers, including close relatives of mine, did not get vaccinated against covid, and also pretty much believe covid is a hoax. They are dangerous people and do not need any more publicity, whatever their message in other issues.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:37

Exactly this. Most here will be from the UK so won’t even know, care or think about the media platforms in little old NZ. I’ve had lots of contact with one of the mainstream ones, who took money from the government to publish their ‘one truth’ on covid and not question it in any way. They are unbelievably misogynistic behind the scenes, deplorable on domestic violence and on womens rights they don’t care one bit. I complained once that their article on world rugby was factually incorrect for stating they had banned transwomen from playing, as they could still play in the male category. They answered with one sentence: complaint not accepted as you believe transwomen are not women and we believe they are. That’s word for word. What kind of journalist responds to a factual inaccuracy that way?? I didn’t even mention what I believed. They’re nuts.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:39

@MauisLeftNipple what silly lies you tell. NZ has a high covid vaccine rate. Like everywhere. Can you please stop derailing the thread about covid. It’s against talk guidelines to do so.

the thread is about the former nz Nurse and puberty blockers use in NZ.

landOFconfusion · 11/10/2022 08:43

@TheClogLady

Jennifer Scott believes that Covid vaccines are dangerous and had her practising certificate revoked for leading a social media campaign that discouraged people from obtaining covid vaccines during a global pandemic. Twisting this to imply that she merely opposed vaccine mandates is a dishonest and disgraceful rewriting of history.

People need to be aware that she is a dangerous moron who peddles disinformation and engages in activities that undermine public health.

A nurse should know better. Which is why she is no longer a nurse.

Helleofabore · 11/10/2022 08:47

Tell you what.

Tell us, point by point, what she has wrong in this video.

Otherwise, you are just continuing to attempt to derail this thread.

I look forward to discussing the misinformation in this part video with whoever wishes to discredit her for what she says here in the video.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:47

Repeated attempts to derail should be ignored, especially if they’re appropriating another culture to be incredibly vile to a group of people they don’t know.

And the exact same people likely call themselves anti racist too!

’Conspiracy theorist’ is starting to feel the same as ‘transphobe’ ‘racist’ fascist’ ‘nazi’ etc. We get accused of being conspiracy theorists when we express concern about sex offenders, yet we just found an academicpaedo on the Board of Trustees at Mermaids and a man with a dick pic on Twitter running their digital engagement strategy 🤦‍♀️

So we’re just gonna have to file ‘conspiracy theorist’ in the Fuck It Bucket of insults used against us if we care about safeguarding children.

Do you think Genderism might be disproportionately affecting Māori children? I’ve been looking at the emotional landscape of Chinese adoptees to the west (all those baby girls that were part of a programme) and gender identity is coming up again and again. It’s not really talked about yet. Obviously it’s not going to be quite the same with children growing up with their families but I’m now idly wondering if perhaps being marginalised on your own islands could create a similar psychological response?

I haven’t really seen the Chinese adoptees angle hit mainstream yet but it’s coming up over and over again in the parents of gender distressed kids groups.

I guess I’m just a conspiracy theorist 😉

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:49

It’s important to discuss the video because NZ is often held up as progressive and an awesome place to live, for women and girls nothing could be further from the truth. In September the Ministry of Health removed the words ‘ safe and fully reversible’ from its website regarding publicity blockers.

This is a derail but you sound incredibly paranoid. More and more evidence is emerging regarding vaccine side effects so let’s come back and discuss this in a year.

Igneococcus · 11/10/2022 08:55

I have spent a lot of time arguing against antivaxxers before and since Covid, people dead set against the MMR vaccine, or vaccination in general, or in Germany against the tick-borne encephalitis vaccine, and I have never before seen this vilification of antivaxxers and the refusal to engage with them as I see now with anti-Covid vaxxers. It's almost as if it's used to shut down people who come from what is perceived to be the wrong political side.

WahineToa · 11/10/2022 08:56

@TheClogLady yes and when the unrelated issues the poster is banging on about disproportionately affect Maori and Polynesian for historical reasons of mistreatment by government causing distrust, you just know they don’t dare about racism and the health or safety of those groups. It’s not about covid.

Regarding if gender ideology disproportionately affects Maori youth, hard to say for me but I think it is similar with how it affects womens groups and feminist groups in that trans issues dominate now and are prioritised as are the voices of those people. We have people misrepresenting the history of our people in order to support their western theories on gender, a lot, which is deeply annoying. Even more so for Samoans and Fa’afafine, which is always completely misunderstood and distorted by these middle class white westerners trying to force this crap on everyone. Fa’afafine has its roots in homophobia and misogyny. They don’t actually think anyone is in the wrong body or that Fa’afafine are actually female. Nobody gives puberty blockers to kids there.

She lost me when she said there were no examples of transgenderism in historic māori culture. That is categorically untrue; transgenderism exists throughout Pacific cultures. This is widely documented.

True, no-one in the Pacific thinks fafafine are actually women.
