It's also been reported in a national newspaper. It's one NHS trust, not the whole of the NHS but hopefully it will be replicated.

They have been told and told and told. Warned. Now we need to know who made the call to get into bed with these people and stop this nonsense.

Given new information about the person moderating their forum I would definitely hope that no responsible organisation would signpost children to them.

Looks like it's just one local NHS branch (not the NHS in general) and is just a suggestion (rather than a rule) because of current pending events.

Events like mermaids trustees being part of a pedophile ring and sharing naked pictures of themselves on the Internet? Those events? Do you have any insight on why this might be a slightly bad look for a childrens charity or are you too busy pointing at squirrels and reading the farming almanac?

It is a ione NHS ICB, which is the new form CCG. There are 42 ICBs in England, each encompassing a number of Trusts etc. that work together (so more than just one Trust).

My dc's secondary school have removed the Mermaids link too. I'd flagged up the concerns a week ago and it's gone from their website now.
