Go to the webpage you saw it on - twitter or whatever.
Go to the URL - that's the web address usually in the top long space e.g. www.mumsnet.com

Copy that with your cursor or hold it down on a phone, select all, and copy.

Come back to your mumsnet post and 'paste'.

There's nothing special that makes it a "link", even if the MN formatting doesn't make it clickable we still have the URL - web address - that we can paste into our own browsers.
