Of course calling an MP a rape-enabler when there's no evidence to support the allegation is unwise. For example they'll want access to Parliament and be able to lobby MPs and Lords and allegations like that won't help.

I didn't say that. Earlier in this thread we were arguing against trans activists that Allison Bailey not winning in her tribunal claim against Stonewall was not the point, the point was what the proceedings revealed. There's more at stake here than the nature of how LGBA (hopefully) wins this case.

I know a couple of people have posted it but it's really worth reading about the context of the tweets. (And note that one of the screenshots wasn't a tweet from LGBA but something someone commented on the donation page, which LGBA got removed because it was so rude).

I think plenty of organisations are guilty of tweeting 'not great tweets' in fairness. It's not normally seen as a matter for the court.

If LGBA are hoping to prove that they behave in am exemplary fashion at all times, I agree this tweet is problematic. However i don't see any equivalence with Stonewall revealing that their legal advice didn't stand up in court, washing their hands of it all and walking away.

Has anyone counted how many things Mr Roberts is not an expert in? Indeed, did he give us any clue as to what he might be an expert in, or even just a teeny weeny bit knowledgeable about? In short: why was he giving evidence at all?

Can we quit on the unequal standards. I honestly don't care if the LGBA are all foul mouthed Tweeters who are being investigated for being rude to an MP and for chewing the heads off jellybabies, what matters is are charities permitted under law to exist for and by GC people and to represent people who are sex based homosexuals and not believers in gender ideology.

Yes, I think he did a very good job of making clear to the judge where Mermaids stand and what a lot of the problem is.

I was hoping, that after the Nolan podcast, the whole issue of stonewall's homophobia would go mainstream. But it didn't. Then I was hoping that it would with Allison Bailey. And it did, a bit, but nowhere near like this!

This is telling the entire country that people who call themselves LGBT activists, don't believe in homosexuality.

And it's not just catching them out in a sentence, they're yelling it from the rooftops.

Thanks @nauticant. That sounds a lot less inflammatory. While Tribunal Tweets do a sterling job, I'd really love there to be an official transcript of this, and Sarah's case against Survivor's Network, so we can refer people back to their actual evidence later on, rather than a summarised version.

Thanks everyone, so good to catch up on all of this. Interestingly it all came up on a non GC group chat I'm on. It seems the daylight is spreading.
I was also wryly amused by the quick bit of scrounging by the TRA live tweeting it all from their side. They never miss a chance do they?
