'Protest' at EHRC HQ

Honestly don't read any further if you're eating!

apple.news/Aak8wOhpRTUqxtEgvpSq0Kw

If you don't want to give the misogynists at VICE any clicks then I will summarise - trans rights activists left over 60 bottles of urine outside the HQ of the EHRC to protest their policy on trans access to single sex spaces. One trans protester (I'll let you guess their sex) also emptied multiple bottles of said urine all over themselves on the side of the street, as well as wetting themselves for good measure! No arrests made, obviously!

I'm so disgusted. Hopefully this just shows the EHRC why we need single sex spaces. There's disgusting photos at the bottom of the article, clearly this is nothing but a fetish to the 'protester'.

Grim - that bloke in the long frock was getting over excited pouring piss down himself - but it’s not a fetish!

BlackForestCake · 06/09/2022 21:24

Even after years of this nonsense I am flabbergasted that anyone thought this was a good idea, and that Vice is trying to make out the self-pissers are the goodies.

onepieceoflollipop · 06/09/2022 21:30

Gosh, one of those photos on the news app is very revealing - I can see an extremely clear photo of a body part (that would usually be kept private in a public area) through that very transparent dress. Is that acceptable now? I always thought this would be deemed indecent exposure…

also on a lighter note many of the people producing that urine are very dehydrated it is very dark…

KatVonlabonk · 06/09/2022 21:30

They've really surpassed themselves this time.

Absolutely loons

onepieceoflollipop · 06/09/2022 21:33

This photo I mean…

i am sure that if I decided to wear a transparent dress tomorrow with no pants, and pour water down myself, I could be arrested? Has the law changed or is the law different for people with penises?

Yes, totally not a fetish!

@BlackForestCake that's what struck me too, such disgusting actions and yet no criticism from the author! What would they actually have to do for VICE to say that's not on?!

@onepieceoflollipop that's urine not water 😩

And they want to be taken seriously? In any case, no one will pay any attention, because all eyes are on Downing Street.

yourhairiswinterfire · 06/09/2022 21:37

Dousing themselves in piss because women have rights.

I've seen it all now.

ResisterRex · 06/09/2022 21:39

This is revolting. Imagine working at the EHRC, you'd be terrified. If someone does this then what else would they do? That's what you'd be thinking.

onepieceoflollipop · 06/09/2022 21:40

@waterbabys
oh yes I know but if I was to try it (you know, just to see if there is equality Wink)I’d use water Smile

OvaryActions · 06/09/2022 21:41

Ugh dirty bastards.
They must be trolling us. I mean honestly, TRAs are blatantly trolling women by seeing how filthy and overtly disgusting/perverted/threatening/misogynistic/whatever they can be and still be supported.
They're getting a thrill out of showing women how little we're thought of and how easy it is to demonise us and steamroll over any little protection we had in society.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 06/09/2022 21:42

fuck me that's grim

taking their fetish out for a walk in public

lovely

pattihews · 06/09/2022 21:45

Pissing yourself, pouring urine over yourself in public while wearing an animal mask...

And we're the problem?

TheBiologyStupid · 06/09/2022 21:45

Presumably the idiotic message is that they just want to pee. A shame that they couldn't hold it in. Talk about taking the piss!

BlackForestCake · 06/09/2022 21:46

Why would women want their own spaces separate from weird men who pour piss all over themselves? It can only be bigotry.

TheBiologyStupid · 06/09/2022 21:48

I meant to add a link to an archived copy for the Vice-averse: web.archive.org/web/20220906204604/www.vice.com/en/article/jgpj5y/pissed-off-trannies-ehrc-protest

TheClogLady · 06/09/2022 21:49

It’s as if one of Mumsnet’s late night visitors sprang to life.

ArabellaScott · 06/09/2022 21:49

Well that'll show the EHRC.

Helleofabore · 06/09/2022 21:50

And they honestly thought this didn’t just prove women right?

The visible~penis~line under that dress seems to becoming a common thing as well.

Yes…. They just want to pee apparently.

TheBiologyStupid · 06/09/2022 21:51

Pissing yourself, pouring urine over yourself in public while wearing an animal mask...

And we're the problem?

Isn't public urination an offence? Pretty sure I've seen reports of arrests and fines in the past. But of course the special ones get a free pass/piss...!

pattihews · 06/09/2022 21:55

Whenever anyone asks what our problem with mixed-sex loos and men in women's loos is, we now have the answer.

It's a gift. Thank you POTs.

ArabellaScott · 06/09/2022 21:56

Indecent exposure depends on the intent, afaik.

From what we've been told before women should just look the other way, anyway.

ArabellaScott · 06/09/2022 21:58

The truly astonishing thing here isn't the protest; its Vice's response.

MorningPlatypus · 06/09/2022 21:59

Sunlight is the best disinfectant, but in this case EHRC will need strong bleach.
