Noelle McMaher is a 10 year old trans model who started social transition aged 4 then legal transition aged 7. Apparently Noelles love of fashion and glitter was the firm indicator that Noelle wanted to be a girl not a boy.

Noelle has an infant sibling who is referred to as the theybie as they are being raised non binary by female parents who one or both were trans then de-transed and are now non binary but still trans.

There is much talk of the millions of dollars Noelle could earn at aged 10 as a trans model much talk of how Noelle preferred girl clothes to boy clothes but no talk of if Noelle changes their mind as one of their parents did.

I firmly believe this is a form of child abuse along the lines of Munchausen by proxy and given the evidence of transing children this child will end up on a medical pathway with no choice in the matter and be a cash cow for the family.

When will the authorities and medical professionals wake up to the abuse and harm carried out on children in the name of Diversity?

Gosh.

Perhaps this sounds terribly old fashioned but I’m not even comfortable with peroxiding a ten year old child’s hair, let alone declaring them to be the opposite sex before the age of 3.

And the article in this thread is v pertinent to this story.

Parents with inconvenient truths about trans www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/4620054-parents-with-inconvenient-truths-about-trans

Sinead's comment in the mail piece is accurate.

Sonnex · 28/08/2022 10:36

They also don't look anything like a child model normally would look. Terrible exploitation by the parents.

mikado1 · 28/08/2022 10:37

All v confusing! But the dad didn't help the situation with his 'efforts'!

SolasAnla · 28/08/2022 10:42

Sorry, but when did child models come back into runway fashion shows?

Is the child only doing childrens fashions runways or has the industry rolled back on the promise to stop child & teen labour?

CrossStichQueen · 28/08/2022 10:44

Why couldn't Noella be a boy child model who breaks down barriers by wearing clothes normally marketed at girls?
Why couldn't Noella be told that they can wear what they like and play with any toys they choose but they are a boy as they were born male.
What is so wrong with truth and facts?

If he broke the childs arm fighting to put on PJ's I doubt that was the first time physical violence occured in the house. So I can totally understand a male child who has feminine interests not wishing to associate with the main "masculine" role model in his young life.

TheClogLady · 28/08/2022 10:46

The more I think about it the more uncomfortable I feel. Even the catwalk modelling aspect is troubling to me.
One if my children was aggressively scouted by an agent at a train station. He was only a preschooler at the time and the woman approached me politely and when I said that I didn’t think he would enjoy it and that I didn’t want him to be valued by his looks (all big blue eyes and blonde curls and still like that in his early 20s) she turned on me and was incredibly verbally aggressive and pushed her business card into my pocket. It left my kid in tears and me shell shocked and being reassured by onlookers that the whole incident was batshit.

Imagine being caught up in that world in such a high profile way when you are a)on the cusp of puberty and perhaps naturally self conscious about your changing appearance and b) being affirmed as the opposite sex (when if you were actually a female child model you would be attracting far less fuss and press attention).

will this child be puberty blocked to slow physical change and keep them looking how they do now for career purposes?

the whole thing puts me in mind of those castrato boy opera singers…
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castrato

I hope this child has some sensible adult input somewhere (granny or grandad or aunties/uncles) although with the prevailing pro trans advice to cut out dissenters perhaps not.

do children still need a special license to work in entertainment/modelling etc as minors? I know they used to. I hope it’s still the case as it ensures they get a proper education and can’t be used as a family cash cow.

WarriorN · 28/08/2022 10:53

noella is growing up thinking that they only have value based on looks

CrossStichQueen · 28/08/2022 10:54

There are many now adult child actors/models who talk about how their life has been negatively affected by being thrust in to the adult world without proper guidance, support and safeguarding.
I feel for Noella as not only will they need to deal with the negative aspects of being a model they will also be dealing with puberty, life changing decisions, medication, surgery and potentially life long health issues.

While Noella looks cute and is enjoying the fun and attention as a 10 year old will they still be cute enough when they reach 16? Will it still be fun and full of positive affirming comments?
I suspect not.

'she was born with a ‘fierce and confident sense of identity’'

Presumably this is what midwives should now be looking for rather than external genitalia.

WaveyHair · 28/08/2022 10:55

One day we will look back at this and wonder how we allowed children to be abused in this way.

Apparently Noelles love of fashion and glitter was the firm indicator that Noelle wanted to be a girl not a boy. Try telling that to some of the worlds male leading fashion designers. Girls are not decorative objects...Angry

JacquelineCarlyle · 28/08/2022 10:59

It's shocking.

DeadbeatYoda · 28/08/2022 11:28

Reminds me of those grotesque beauty pageant children in the States, plastered in make up, yuk. Monetising our children is disgusting but not new.

RadFemApparently · 28/08/2022 12:15

I honestly hope that stories like this make some of the people who are totally signed up to this ideology stop and think about what they are condoning.

Trans 2 year olds indeed.

TheKeatingFive · 28/08/2022 12:20

This is appalling. Poor child.

ADreamIsAllINeedToGetBy · 28/08/2022 12:22

That picture of Noella flicking the v is awful. I would be utterly ashamed if my children did that, I certainly wouldn't pose for a photo and splash it all over the media

guinnessguzzler · 28/08/2022 12:48

Why even have children on the catwalk? The whole situation sounds very complicated for everyone.

Truthlikeness · 28/08/2022 13:04

Did we forget that sexualising children (false eye lashes, heavy makeup including red lipstick) was a bad thing?

Apparently when it's a boy identifying as a girl it's to be applauded.

Who knew 🤷‍♀️

Drunkpanda · 28/08/2022 13:12

I've just watched the video. I have a 10 year old, and made a video of him playing in h the park yesterday. The contrast between it and this young child posing hand on hip etc - I wouldn't be happy with this at all, boy or girl.

MagpiePi · 28/08/2022 13:14

It's amazing that so many trans parents have toddlers who know they are trans too.

It reminds me of children that grow up believing in the same religion as their parents. Weird how some children have such strong convictions.

WomaninBoots · 28/08/2022 13:15

It.

Is.

So.

Fucking.

WRONG.

🤬

Confused parents exploit and damage confused child.

They fuck ze up zer mam and mu..sorry dad...erm no maybe mum? Who knows? What is reality?
They clearly mean it but we let them.
The fill you up with nonsense and sparkles.
And add some trauma just for you.

Is that how it goes?

megletthesecond · 28/08/2022 13:16

That is a whole new level of messed up.

Poor kid has sexist and exploitative parents who need reading the riot act.
