Periods and having babies are the only differences between trans women and biological women apparently

Perhaps it's a bit mean to put this here, but IW is posting this claptrap - although in India's defence I get the impression that the delusion has gone on so long that they genuinely believe what they're saying to be fact.

If a routine blood test at 8 weeks of pregnancy is able to determine whether the unborn baby is male or female, how on earth can trans ideologists continue to argue that they're able to change sex? Their blood still carries all those sex markers, it doesn't magically change! Preaching to the converted I know, but seriously this is rage inducing.

Not sure why my comment was deleted!
I merely said EXACTLY what happened on Big Brother, it's out there for anyone who want to watch it.

Obviously touched a nerve.

I linked it up there ⬆️

India, whoever that is, will be flattered to be quoted on mumsnet - all that attention and free publicity.

"Periods and having babies are the only differences between trans women and biological women apparently"

That would be because women are adult human females and transwomen aren't.🤔

There's also the small matter of sperm production, of course.

But broadly, that's what feminists have been saying all along. There's no difference between men and women, other than biology.

Periods, pregnancy, having a uterus, having a different shaped pelvis, etc, all of it.

When they are counted up there are 6500 genetic differences between men and women.

None of which involves make up or hair style.

commonfik · 15/08/2022 00:21

Wow @Datun

‘When they are counted up there are 6500 genetic differences between men and women.’

IW displayed male entitlement to a tee when on celebrity BB, including bullying and brow beating more vulnerable women.

They then had the audacity to be upset when the Australian drag Queen was in the house too & couldn't see hypocrisy/ irony in their viewpoint at all.

The sad thing is that things have only gotten worse since then!

But broadly, that's what feminists have been saying all along. There's no difference between men and women, other than biology. I don’t think that’s correct. It is perfectly possible to see difference without accepting inequality.

So what difference is there apart from biology? I honestly can't think of anything?

ErrolTheDragon · 15/08/2022 17:17

They're the main difference - exactly as they are between any other male and women.
Not the only difference, obviously. But that's what sex is, and you can't change it.

SudocremOnEverything · 15/08/2022 17:37

It is kind of telling when someone reduces the female reproductive system (and all it entails) to a minor quibble. The difference is just that little thing.

ErrolTheDragon · 15/08/2022 21:30

Yes - a complete lack of understanding of the systems of oppression which have been built on those supposedly insignificant differences. And a failure to understand that they've not yet all been consigned to history. Maybe in a future feminist utopia where they really are all gone, structural sexism is overcome, violent men have learned self control, gender nonconformity is completely unremarkable ... then, perhaps, it might be ok to talk in such dismissive terms. But even then women will still need separate sports teams, because we're still dimorphic.

Yes I'd be interested in an answer to that, too.

Poor India, there’s not much between the ears is there.

It’s because India has a laydee brain. None of us are very bright. We will be much brighter when we have stopped having periods and babies like men, some of us might almost be as smart as India.

Oh,just a minute, that doesn’t work does it…..

Dreikanter · 17/08/2022 12:02

IW has declared Indiaself a “biological female” on the IW Twitter bio.

There is a word for this but suspect I wouldn’t be allowed to use it here.

Willoughby's delusions are astonishing in their scale. Anyone who thinks they can grow a cervix need a word with their GP.

Scientifically illiterate?

Yogoe · 17/08/2022 12:21

So my friend with Turner’s syndrome who has to take hormone replacement therapy isn’t a real woman?
I’m so offended for her.

Dreikanter · 17/08/2022 12:22

Starts with D and the rest eluded me.

Yogoe · 17/08/2022 12:30

Wait, how do they even believe you determine Turner’s syndrome exists if they say there are no other differences between males and females? Isn’t that being incredibly discriminatory towards another group of people who should be protected from this nonsense?
They’re just showing their absolute ignorance about actual medical scientific facts.

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 17/08/2022 13:07

If India presented at A&E with difficulty urinating and abdominal pain, would they consider uterine/ovarian issues or Prostate problems?

SudocremOnEverything · 17/08/2022 16:40

I suspect India would be angry at them for considering actual biology, rather than desired biology.

viques · 17/08/2022 17:38

I hope India has decided on cremation when they eventually pop their designer clogs. How awful if in the very far distant future some forensic anthropologist looked at their skeletal remains and declared their sex by referring to their pelvic formation.

ginghamstarfish · 17/08/2022 17:41

Not sure who this person is, but I can guess this is not the name given by his or her parents .... so this will come as news to all doctors, forensic scientists, archaeologists etc, who are able to recognise the difference between male and female bodies even down to the skeleton.

mrshoho · 17/08/2022 19:23

So women do have a prostate after all? I better get my screening booked in.
