I live a few miles from where these terrible “hate crimes” are supposedly happening. I can’t see anything untrue about the slogans, btw.

Has anyone ever known a documented case of razors under stickers?

All the stickers shown are on curved surfaces, so how would that even work?

They edited out the bit where the Councillor calls for stickering (a petty crime I think) on the crime page.

I can’t access the comments for some reason. Are they largely in support of the stickers?

Comments have vanished. Almost all of them pointed out there were no razors, that the journo seems to have just uncritically repeated what the Cllr said, and that the stickers say nothing hateful and nothing that isn;t strictly true. Oh, plus one poster being very abusive of "TERFs" and reporting every comment for hatespeech.

I'm a member of the Green Party (I know, I know) and get a daily press briefing.

It's usually when a spokesperson has managed to get onto tv or radio and been interviewed about an environmental issue or local GP in local newspapers about local actions.

Guess what made it into today's briefing. 🙄

I've seen a long twitter thread of people reporting to a Green Party official that they won't vote GP again while there is rampant transphobia in the Party. So I guess Cllr Catt knows his audience.

There wasn't a single mention of an environmental issue in the thread.

I clicked on the journalist's profile. Apparently she has a first-class honours degree in multimedia journalism from Bournemouth. She must have skipped the classes on defamation and impartiality.
