This poor woman dedicated her life to defending women and girls. She heard a male voice while in the shower at her local pool, looked out and saw a TW changing near 4 or 5 little girls while staring at them. She stepped in, asked if the TW had a penis, and got banned and the pool staff threatened to call police on her. They lied and said she said all kinds of profane things. This is so disgusting. I feel so bad for her.

You clearly don't know that females are hardwired since caveman era for our survival, to spot a male, right?

Do you have a source for that? You don't because you've just pulled it out of your arse.

Christinapple · 02/07/2025 14:29

Any source for this other than reddux?

Here is a study done on faces

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S004269892200133X

Our results indicate that facial structures with full information on the texture and color of the skin are correctly classified as to their sex by most of the participants (98.4 % for Exp. 1 and 94.6 % for Exp. 2). If we do not consider versions 3 and 5 (close to the androgyne version 4), which contain a certain degree of sex ambiguity and only consider the less ambiguous versions (1 and 2 for male faces, and 6 and 7 for female faces), the accuracy approaches the ceiling (99.9 % for Exp.1, and 99.1 % for Exp.2). This is in line with previous research which observed that natural faces, devoid of any cultural signs of sex, are generally correctly categorized into their sex

I would think that results over 90% indicate a correct assumption that most of the population can accurately identify the sex of humans from faces. However, note the difference between people correctly identifying male versions of faces vs female.

The study mentions other papers as well.

I have a link stashed away that show that babies can recognise male and female faces too.

I am really not sure when people started to believe that their inability to tell the difference between male and female people through observation and hearing voices was the norm. The research says otherwise.

For anyone interested, Amy E Sousa has done some videos on the recognition of sex category in humans.

https://www.theknownheretic.com/p/instinct-sos-sex-recognition

Amy Sousa is a Depth Psychology specialist. Meaning she has studied and she teaches about human instinctive behaviour.

I recommend any person who doesn’t believe that humans are likely to correctly identify the sex of other humans particularly female people recognising male people, might like to watch this.

"Biomechanically, though, she still retains distinct advantages. The athletes she will be competing against have naturally wider hips. For the purposes of powering a bicycle, the crucial element here is that they will have a wider angle between the hips and the knees — this means their quads do not work so efficiently in transferring power."

Crucially, it is these angles that are quite important in understanding who is a male person and who is a female person when looking at gait, stance and other movement. All without judging a person's body based on whether they are 'woman' enough.

I really do think these men posting that women after millennia of civilisation don't know men from women have clearly lived in a very sheltered world away from civilisation. Womens lives literally depend on accurately sexing danger. I mean, this is not fucking rocket science! 🙄 It's base level common sense!

Presumably, Chris and Bobbby will now post:

Man left, woman right...

FeistyCat · 02/07/2025 14:45

As I've said before; it's the male skull and jawbone, the height, limb length, hand and feet size, gait, lack of hips, adams apple, philtrum width, etc etc etc. Males and females are SO incredibly physically different (anyone who isn't blind knows this) and the tells are so numerous, but skeletal structure really tells most of the story.

Quick service announcement to other women - you're absolutely welcome to question at any time what sex I am, as a lesbian I am fine with that and happy to reassure you in the aim of women's legal protections and equalities, and keeping the men the fuck out. Ask away.

Yep. Woman with short hair, here, who never wears make up, always wear trousers.

Any woman who is unsure of my sex is free to ask if I'm a woman. It wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

Plus name another mammalian species that cannot accurately discern which members of its own species it needs to mate with to reproduce.

SinnerBoy · 02/07/2025 14:52

Like Boiledbeetle my eyesight is waning and when I'm down the seafront, walking my dog, I can almost always tell which neutrally dressed stick figure in the distance is male and which is female.

Bobbymoore123 · 02/07/2025 14:10

Do you have a source for that? You don't because you've just pulled it out of your arse.

Would you like to provide a source that female people are not likely to be able to correctly identity the sex of a male person with observation and interaction?

Otherwise, shall we repeat your sneering sentence?

"Do you have a source for that? You don't because you've just pulled it out of your arse".

So we are the only species that after millions of years of evolution can't recognise the opposite sex, the single most important thing to ensuring the propagation of the species?
Anyway, many links to academic studies have been provided to you, so perhaps you could go away read them and try not to come across as such a rude clueless buffoon.

What a win for all women, I've been inspired! Next time I'm in the changing room I'm going to go round asking everyone there in the changing room whether they have a penis. Of course I'll need proof from anybody who says no or else what would be the point in asking? 🤢

Apologies that would be gross and weird, as a regular terf I'll actually just be asking the people who don't conform to my sense of what a woman should look like.

🙄
Meanwhile other normal people will be looking out for creepy behaviour - but if you’re obsessed with genitals you do you

If I'm out and about sometimes I'll sit for a while in town just people watching.

My eyesight is crap these days, definitely need to make an opticians appointment, but even so I'll watch people way way off in the distance and think that's a woman, that's a man. And once they are close enough to come into focus I'm always correct.

I watched two people the other week, same height both seemed to be wearing same coloured trousers and a similar coat, both short hair etc. I'd guessed woman in the left, man on the right.

When they got close enough presentation wise there was nothing to tell them apart, they were both wearing completely identical clothes, same trainers, same jeans, same coat. Same haircut, same 5ft 6" height and build. And they were very obviously a woman on the left and a man on the right. (And as an aside I'd bet good money they'd been married 40+ years to each other!)

I don't understand why some people try to claim humans can't correctly sex other humans.

And I'm sure there will be people who will still try the "but you don't know you were correct" .

At which point all I've got in response these days is a heavy sigh, a shake of my head and to look at them in a way that conveys "you really are quite a stupid individual aren't you?" .

Or it’s fine to say - we don’t need to be 100% sure. Anything over 90% does the job. Basic factor of safety stuff. Very little in life is entirely certain (other than death and taxes etc)

Maaate · 02/07/2025 15:26

It's quite worrying how many people are so desperate to defend the right of grown ass men to watch little girls getting changed

TRAs are all very good at saying "no not like that" "ugh no not like that" "not like that you weirdo bigot TERF" but weirdly light on actual solutions.

So Bobby, in a world where:

  • male bodied people should not be weird, voyeuristic or rapey about female bodies including child female bodies or female privacy
  • yet some male bodied people still are weird, voyeuristic or rapey about female bodies including child female bodies or female privacy
  • the stated gender identity of people with male bodies does not appear to impact the degree to which they may be weird, voyeuristic or rapey about female bodies including child female bodies or female privacy
  • male bodied people who are weird, voyeuristic or rapey about female bodies including child female bodies or female privacy often pretend not to be weird, voyeuristic or rapey about female bodies including child female bodies or female privacy because they realise these things are not socially allowed and sometimes in that hope that they can get to enjoy their weird, voyeuristic or rapey feelings about female bodies including child female bodies or female privacy in places where people with female bodies want or have to do involve being unclothed or otherwise require privacy
  • some things people with female bodies want or have to do involve being unclothed or otherwise require privacy

what's your solution as to an appropriate way to minimise the opportunities for male people to impose their weird, voyeuristic or rapey feelings about female bodies including child female bodies or female privacy onto people who have female bodies?

Catiette · 02/07/2025 15:35

Sorry. Couldn't resist. Sometimes, you have to laugh so you don't cry.

I was wondering just what the fuck a 'regular terf' was? I suspect it is someone who is not actually seeking to prioritise the sex based needs of female people at all. I suspect that it is someone claiming an identity that doesn't actually align with their beliefs.

Because if you are going to shame women who can clearly identify a male person while calling out a safeguarding issue, I don't think that is centring women and children at all. I think that is centring male people all the way.
