Surely it’s a good thing. So many of the tactics of these activists are insidious, so a public display of ridiculousness only helps to alert more “ordinary” people to what is happening.

btw, men I know who are very much on side don’t speak out for fear of losing their livelihoods. Sadly it is left to those with nothing to lose/at a comfortable stage of life to take action. Dh’s friend works for a major bank. He was only saying on Sunday that every single day he is bombarded with this stuff. They wfh and internal emails are monitored so no chance to share a raised eyebrow with a colleague (which you could have done when in the office).

Yes, women pushed back, they found their voice, they said no. They began to get support, worse still public support. We all know that women saying no can't go unpunished.

This 'fuck you' response is part of the punishment and part of the reminder that they still have power.

Fortunately they overplayed their hand already. This just shines more sunlight and turns the stomach and minds of more and more people.

Remind me again what Lia Thomas has done to be nominated for their "woman of the year" exactly?? Leapfrogged over women by using their male biological advantage, pushing women out of the team who have trained hard but can't compete with male puberty? Very worthy. Or maybe it was when Lia was parading around in the women's changing rooms naked wanging their dick around to make sure everyone could see just how much of a woman they are (several reports from anonymous swimmers too scared to go public confirming this story). Top womanly behaviour, well deserving of an award.

It seems that to get nominated for woman of the year, if you're a trans woman you only need to show up, not actually do anything outstanding. So, so brave and an example to us mere biological women.

I hope you're right but I fear the world has no shortage of barely adequate men who would rather take a gold (and a scholarship) in the women's competition than admit they're just not quite good enough to make it.

Left to it's logical conclusion Penn's policies would result in a men's competition and a men with long hair in a woman's costume competition.

A person that was not born a woman and therefore is not a woman has won an award for being woman of the year.

The world is absolutely bonkers.

And us women will still be told oh it's ok, parkrun isn't a race .... blah blah blah

Thankfully Lia Thomas's chance of being the NCAA's Woman of the Year has come to an end after failing to be put forward by the Ivy League in the next stage of the contest.
