www.spectator.co.uk/article/parents-must-resist-stonewall-s-gospel

‘Bodies are not inherently male or female. They are just their bodies,’ Kirrin said during the trial. ‘Biological sex is made up of a multitude of characteristics that change over a person’s life-cycle.’ For Kirrin,it’s self-evident that any person with a penis who says he’s a girl should automatically be allowed access to any women-only spaces, even a refuge for female rape victims. As a born woman, wrongly assigned male because of his penis, the penis person has always had the right to enter, you see. ‘I take issue with the words “allowing access”,’ said Kirrin. ‘It’s about removing access, removing a certain section of women from services because they are trans.’

Kirrin is in many ways a hero – and I mean that sincerely. Many gender activists are sneaky, putting into the public domain only things they think palatable to normies. This is the way of the cult. In being candid about his core beliefs, Kirrin has done a service to me and to other parents who might otherwise assume that LGBTQ+ activism in the 21st century is a simple bid for equal rights.

So it’s time for 21st-century parents to organise – if only we had the bottle.

Not popped into Mumsnet much has she?

The comments are spectacular

334bu · 15/07/2022 09:56

No, but never too late to join the party..

IloveHolby · 15/07/2022 10:02

I was going to say the same @334bu - better late then never!

Good article @Birdsweepsin thanks for sharing. Shame she doesn’t mention the Cass review and actions by Sex Matters and others to flag up these issues

Not read the comments @Hoardasurass i will go back and look 😊

SpindleInTheWind · 15/07/2022 10:03

Out of political interest, she's still married to Dominic Cummings isn't she? Who is rumoured to be supporting Rishi Sunak's bid for the Tory leadership?

It's about time the Tory elite noticed what has been happening for years on their watch. It certainly might make the hustings interesting if Sunak decides to really rumble Mordaunt on this - the deception, the damage, the capture, the ideological incoherence in schools ...

IloveHolby · 15/07/2022 10:04

Oh I can’t see them as I’m not a subscriber.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/07/2022 10:05

I know nothing about her, but that's a good article. On another thread I linked to a US article which talked about 'snowplow parents', constantly removing obstacles from their children's path rather than helping them learn how to deal with the obstacles for themselves. Similar to Wakefield's egg and spoon parent idea. Nobody can avoid pain and unhappiness in life. Parents who jump at a short-term solution to keep their children happy often seem to close their eyes to the longer-term consequences, which are not going to be pretty.

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 15/07/2022 10:06

She says she read the transcript of what Kirrin said.

Anyone know where I can find that comedy gold to mine for nuggets to send to my bat shit governing body?

Hoardasurass · 15/07/2022 10:08

@IloveHolby if you click on (from off) to the comments they will show up😀

Hoardasurass · 15/07/2022 10:16

@IloveHolby never mind just seen that your correct so here's some of them

Nice and clearly written. I wonder if she and DH still have 'pull' with the Tory Party?

nauticant · 15/07/2022 10:30

There's a decent attempt at a transcript on Sex Matters vivariumvivariumsvivaria:

KM is the gift that keeps on giving every time he opens his mouth. Alison's trial has really brought the absurdity of SW's ideology out in the open.

PomegranateOfPersephone · 15/07/2022 11:16

Is KM male or female? I am confused! I had thought female…

achillestoes · 15/07/2022 11:21

I’m told KM is female. I think first transitioned F/M and then NB.

Thingybob · 15/07/2022 11:31

Isn't her son on the autistic spectrum?

In her position I'd certainly be terrified of trans ideology that seems to prey on those vulnerable kids.

Photoswet · 15/07/2022 11:31

Delurking.
I am very, very concerned about gender and trans ideology and how effective activists are at gaslighting the public and all our institutions. Looking at how these things are phrased and communicated they are obviously using psychology to manipulate the public and exploit people'e goodwill and tendency to be supportive of the underdog. It's all topsy turvy and has entered our children's spaces in schools, clubs and online. This ideology is being pushed at us and our dc from all corners and within the span of 5 years people's views on what girls and boys actually are have been transformed. More needs to be done to tackle this craze. It's a total brainwash and it will be very challenging to deprogram young kids who are growing up to believe being a girl or boy is gender expression rather than a sex based experience. It's very worrying.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 15/07/2022 11:34

Well said Photoswet - and yes, children will need "deprogramming" having been taught upside down anti science ideology from primary school age. So ,many of them believe men can have babies 🙄

LaughingPriest · 15/07/2022 11:36

within the span of 5 years people's views on what girls and boys actually are have been transformed

The thing is, I don't believe they genuinely have. The more I see, the more I realise people are being dishonest - in public and to themselves, even - about this. That's why so many questions can't be answered.

Not that that's much better for the people involved, of course. In some ways it's worse.

McDuffy · 15/07/2022 11:47

I feel like there's a real groundswell at the moment.

dworky · 15/07/2022 12:00

I had no idea she was married to Cummings.
Better late than never, Mary.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/07/2022 12:13

Ah! <lightbulb moment>

ResisterRex · 15/07/2022 13:05

Think Cummings was aware of the issues a while ago

IloveHolby · 15/07/2022 14:18

Thankfully it’s not all schools - no mention of gender identity in the primary my children go to (small rural one). I’ve discussed it with my 2 though after DS secondary English teacher said JK Rowling is a transphobe. I explained why she isn’t to my kids and would have complained to the school but the teacher left anyway.

Birdsweepsin · 15/07/2022 15:36

Schools have had so much to cope with over the last three years, so it's understandable that they are happy to leave the PSHE/ RSE stuff to "outside experts".

The scandal is no-one challenging the Jigsaw/ people like us/ dodgy rackets bringing gender ideology into school buildings until half the year nine girls start saying they are they/them.

GibbonsGoatsGibbons · 15/07/2022 15:47

Excellent- better late than never!

"And why, if there’s no such thing as biological sex, any child needs to transition at all is the grand mystery at the heart of it all. Every religion needs one." ⭐️
