the actor Ezra miller was arrested recently.
There is a whole string of incidents that have led up to this. Mainly perpetrated against women. Some underage.

Ezra identifies as TG NB - on Ezras arrest this happened....

Ezra demanded a female officer.

It will be interesting to see how thick the trans/NB/I'msomuchmorespecialthanyou armour is with this. Warner Bros dumped Johnny Depp from the Fantastic Beasts films (rightly so) as a result of his behaviour. Depp is a much bigger star (and better actor) than Miller. Will they dump Miller from the remaining Fantastic Beasts films and ditch the release of The Flash? Or will Miller be given the special identity get out of jail free card?

Is Miller still missing with the young afab NB Miller went on the run with, who's parents said Miller groomed since their child was 12? (That was a very tough sentence to write without misgendering anyone involved!) I thought the whole going on the run, then posting the 'you'll never catch me, I'm in another universe' Instagram posts, sounded very much like a threat of suicide if the police kept pursuing them. My XH used to pull that kind of stunt when he wasn't getting his own way, so it just seems familiar.

Jeezo he's lost the plot. Hope he gets chucked, I genuinely do not want to see him in another movie

It's fascinating to watch these police recordings.
The whole idea is that the camera is there as an independant record.
Then because it is a public record of a government official carrying out official business, anyone gets the right to obtain a copy.

Anybody can upload an arrest on utube etc. If you have difficulty sleeping there are loads of arrests and transport to jail which are a hour or longer with the passenger providing a monologue.

As for the arrest, using Sovereign Citizen speech is never a good idea. The Police are being specifically trained to deal with that ideology as potential domestic terrorism. Eg The person goes from violent drunk to violent drunk who believes they have the right to kill the officer.

SC ideology fits into the "I am who I ID as" (except they would refuse to ID🤷🏼‍♀️) as its supports an idea of rights without responsibility (or boundries).

There is no Right to a female officer. The local police may have a policy of single sex body searches but it's as much based on officer safety against claims of sexual assault.

It was also a little transphobic to assume the officers gender.

Plus if thinking about claiming protection of the 4th amendment start early by using the protection of the 5th amendment.

From what I have heard, it's very unlikely that Warner Brothers will cancel the release of the Flash movie because it cost $200 million to make, and if there's a chance they can make that money back, or even some of it, they feel they have a responsibility to themselves, their shareholders and investors to do so.
(Recasting the part and then refilming the movie would cost more than $100 million because Miller is the main role and it's all already been filmed.)
However, I would be very surprised at this point if Miller continues in either of its franchises beyond the release of this movie. ("Miller uses they/them, it, and zir pronouns." - Wikipedia)

How much would they typically spend on promoting and marketing though? Not to mention they can't exactly send Miller out on a press tour. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a straight to streaming release and maybe a limited theatrical release, but no press or marketing.

Then again, Miller is in the special category of human so who knows, the rules clearly don't seem to apply.

I imagine Miller's career is basically over for now. Good.

Waiting for Emma Watson to stand up for his right to insist he's searched by a woman. Maybe a transwomen officer could do it. I'm sure he'd be happy with that.

I think there has been a real effort to paint this as someone experiencing a psychological breakdown/ mental health issues. I think that fits better with the narrative of a special special person (hence NB) and then it's easier to make Miller the victim - society doesn't treat NB people well enough, NB people aren't validated sufficiently, and so who can blame Miller for struggling, this is the result, this is why TQ+++ people need to get given whatever the want all the time and never questioned or held to account need more support.

In reality, I think the "massive, massive twat" judgement may be closer to the truth.

The film is in trouble, I think it will go ahead (perhaps only on streaming?) and they are looking at recasting him.

Unsurprisingly there is an internet campaign to get Ellen Page in the role.

I think a serious question has to be asked as to whether his use of the TG NB status was a ruse to allow him to commit these offences and everyone to turn a blind eye to it.
