Ezra Miller arrest

the actor Ezra miller was arrested recently.
There is a whole string of incidents that have led up to this. Mainly perpetrated against women. Some underage.

Ezra identifies as TG NB - on Ezras arrest this happened....

Ezra demanded a female officer.

But seriously, can you imagine if they was civilian? If they were a black or brown civilian? Ezra is a very lucky they.

Yes, no doubt not mutually exclusive , and maybe he does have mental health issues, but having known a few of this type in my youth (colossally privileged and entitled), I’m leaning way more to the pure twat prognosis.
And perhaps, like Savile, he is taking the “I’m so kooky, me!” route to hiding in plain sight.

Surely if you're non-binary a search by either sex is appropriate.

IE a 'non-binary' person would not have the right to choose the sex of the person who searches them.

College of Policing guidance tends to allow detainees to specific which gender they wish to be treated as, so a male bodied detainee could request to be searched by female officers. Which is what happened to me one one occasion - I've posted about this before - the male (huge, drug addict, violent) wore female clothing but was definitely male bodied, a colleague and I searched him whilst being subjected to a torrent of misogynistic abuse. He intended it to be degrading for us and it was.

I don't believe he is having a breakdown at all. I think he has a very serious personality disorder and is used to being pandered to by everyone who knows him. Random members of the public won't do that. Why should they? These behaviours are familiar to anyone who has had the misfortune to have to deal with PDs.

What is to prevent a male officer identifying as gender fluid and being female in those situations - would your male colleagues do that in order to prevent women having to search males?

Completely agree that this seems very deliberate and manipulative so less likely to be MH and more likely to be twattitude. I would guess he believes his own publicity. And has not had anyone around who would or could keep him down to earth.

And you could absolutely do that. We don't have GRCs in the US. A person's transgender status is based entirely on informal self-declaration. And, as I'm sure you're all aware, thanks to the antics of Philip/Pippa "I'm a Woman on Wednesdays" Bunce, trans people don't have to consistently ID as the opposite sex. They can arbitrarily decide to be men or women at any time, depending on which is more convenient at the moment.

So, there is absolutely nothing stopping female police officers from identifying as men when a trans-identified man wants to be searched by a woman, and then immediately going back to identifying as female once the suspect has been booked and processed into the system.

In fact, there is nothing stopping ANY American woman from identifying as a man whenever it's convenient to do so, and then immediately going back to IDing as a woman when she feels like it. THERE ARE LITERALLY NO RULES.

Well exactly, asking to be search only by a women, when Ezra says Ezra is transgender, they really are a tad think sometimes.
