We shouldn't turn against each other on the thread. We're all of one mind broadly speaking on this issue and all upset at what has happened to MG.

Jolyon Maugham battered a defenceless fox to death with a baseball bat, Macy Gray was publicly bullied into retracting her position. There's not really any equivalence there. Hounding her on here doesn't help anyone. She's a target for the baying mob whatever she does.

What Macy says and what Macy thinks may not be the same thing.
The part of this story - and it's by no means the first or last time - that concerns me is how public bullying is once again being used to force someone to recant. This is chilling.

For all the TRA bullies in the UK, America turns up everything a notch, it's intense.

Macy Gray is still performing and venues have begun to question her booking. I'm sure her and her management have weighed things up, perhaps her management have come down strong on her.

She said what she said though and for that I'm grateful, she was brave to speak up. Personally I'd like her to leave it with that without having to go full TWAW.

Let's hope she paves the way for someone else visible like her to go a step further.
