At least she's not saying that everyone should find wolf whistling acceptable. She's just happy to tell us that her self esteem comes from sexist men appreciating her appearance. Which is sad for her, but not something that surprises me.

One woman with deep seated issues that mean she has a desperate need for male attention shouldn't have any impact on how men act. I think most builders have a more sophisticated understanding of the issues these days, really.

The first one I wouldn't like at all, and doubt many would - the second one I wouldn't care.

Shes always struck me as being extremely damaged for some reason. Not that that's any excuse for this kind of BS, but I find it kind of sad that she's eked out a successful career, is rich and yet still cares, desperately, about what randoms on a building site think about how she looks. She's not going to find getting old easy is she?

I don't mind a bit of harmless flirtation. But then I'm fully aware I've been lucky enough to never have had proper male harassment, having said that last year some creep was sending me the odd text.

Exactly. Her girls are of an age when pervy comments start hitting home. One thing for a desperate for attention woman who has spent her life being judged by her appearance and knows that all that beckons for her is a slot on Loose Women to claim that she enjoys the attention, quite another when it’s a teen who is having her breasts and bum judged and is reading or hearing comments on what sad old men would like to do to her body.

Amanda, do stop being quite so self obsessed, comments like that make you part of the problem , try being part of the solution instead. Maybe you would like to go to Ilford this Saturday and help to walk Zara Aleena home.
